Hello! 😊 My name is Carmelita, but everyone calls me Mel. I'm a 30-year-old Brazilian historian, married and the mother of a wonderful little boy. While my family will remain in Brazil, I'll be living on my own during my six-month research stay at Leiden University, where I'll be working on my PhD thesis. I receive a scholarship that provides a stable monthly income throughout my stay in the Netherlands. I'd describe myself as calm, respectful and organised. I don't smoke, I don't have pets, and I really appreciate a clean and peaceful home. Outside of my research, I love backpacking, hiking and exploring new places. I enjoy discovering new cities, going for walks and trying new cafés and restaurants. I also enjoy spending time with my housemates, whether that's going out together or simply chatting after a long day. For me, the ideal home is one where people enjoy each other's company while also respecting everyone's privacy, routines and quiet time. I currently study CS in Brazil, and I will live in Wageningen from September until end of January. I will work as an intern in the Greenhouse Horticulture lab in WUR. I am currently looking for a room or apartment fairly close to the university. I love cooking, practicing sports, traveling and nature. Een aantal jaar geleden heb ik mijn Master of Science in Game Art behaald en na een interessante carrière specialiseer ik mij nu steeds meer in mijn eigen kunst. Als vaste baan ben ik bezorger en breng ik de JA van Jumbo rond. Ik geniet van deze baan en als ik naar een andere woonplaats moet verhuizen, kan ik ook werken vanuit een andere hub. Als huurder kan ik, als u dat wilt, opknapklusjes aan het huis van u overnemen. Ik ben daar zeer nauwkeurig en vaardig in en heb ook ervaring als hovenier. Als u een tuintje voor mij heeft, of een lichte ruimte voor een paar kamerplanten, ben ik driedubbel gelukkig! Een niet al te hoog huurbedrag zou mij enorm helpen om mijn kunst, hobby's en roadtrips te financieren. Daarom zou ik graag een woning hebben die in aanmerking komt voor huurtoeslag. Helpt u mij rond oktober aan een nieuwe veilige haven? Ik vind het fijn om een plek te hebben waar ik voor langere tijd een rustig leven kan hebben. Vriendelijke groet,
