Our names are Zak and João and we are a married couple who met in London and are excited to begin our lives in The Netherlands. Long-term, we plan to start a gluten-free baked goods business, but in the meantime Zak will work as a pastry chef and João in hotel administration. We are primarily interested in a studio or 1-bedroom flat, but are open to living in a room in a shared flat for some time. Zak loves to cook and bake and is more than happy to share meals and treats! We will be working outside the apartment. We are very friendly and social but understand and appreciate peace and quiet.

Sinds september 2025 ben ik met mijn eerste baan gestart als onderzoekstechnicus/onderzoeker bij de microbiologie afdeling aan de Universiteit van Amsterdam, echter woon ik nu nog in mijn studentenstad Wageningen wat een reistijd van (minimaal, als het OV meezit) 4 uur per dag met zich meebrengt om op mijn werk en thuis te geraken. In het weekend vind ik het gezellig om af en toe iets te ondernemen met vrienden, maar thuis hecht ik vooral aan rust en ontspanning. In mijn vrije tijd lees ik graag, ben ik creatief bezig (haken, breien, af en toe schilderen, bakken en koken) en breng ik graag tijd buiten door.
