From September onwards I will study "Social Challenges, Policies, and Interventions" in Utrecht and after a few years in Nijmegen I am now ready to make a new city my home. Besides my studies I love to be in nature, work on creative projects like knitting or sewing, cook, play Volleyball, and spend time with my friends. From my time studying in Nijmegen I already have lots of experience living with other people and like to think that I am a clean, open-minded and uncomplicated roommate to live with. While I don't speak Dutch fluently yet, I understand it almost fluently and am also doing a course to further learn the language! For my new home I would prefer to live with roommates that also like to spend time together every now and then but I also understand that this is not always possible, which is okay. Op dit moment woon ik nog in Nijverdal, maar omdat de reistijd ruim twee uur is, ben ik op zoek naar een fijne kamer in Nijmegen. Over mezelf: ik ben een sociaal, enthousiast en zelfstandig persoon. Ik vind het leuk om nieuwe mensen te leren kennen en ben altijd in voor een gezellig praatje of een gezamenlijke activiteit, maar ik vind het net zo belangrijk dat iedereen zijn eigen rust en ruimte heeft. Het grootste deel van mijn team en veel van mijn vrienden zijn ouder dan ik, waardoor ik me prettig voel in een wat meer volwassen woonomgeving. Hi, my name is Archie and I’m 19 years old. I’m originally from Spain, with British/Spanish parents - I’m fully bilingual. I’m moving to Eindhoven to study Industrial Engineering at TU/e and I’m looking for a comfortable, quiet place to call home while I focus on my degree. Before starting university I spent a gap year solo-travelling through South America, working in Maui and honing my surf skills, and spending a month in Bali surfing twice a day and meeting travellers from all over the world.
