A little bit about me: I am a very social, active, and easy-going person. I used to play semi-professional basketball, and these days I’m really into BJJ (Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu) and Judo. In my free time, I love traveling, exploring new places, and going out for a drink or a good meal. I'm always down for a nice chat or a movie night with flatmates, but I also completely respect everyone's need for personal time. On the practical side, I have been living on my own for the past 5 years while doing my university studies (Electrical & Computer Engineering) away from home. My name is Henri. I live with my parents, my two brothers and our dog in a little town near Bremen (Germany). After finishing school i’ve worked a bit to travel to Asia with my girlfriend. After that gap year, I’ve started an apprenticeship as an industrial clerk at a big company in my hometown. They produce plastic parts for example the food Industrie or the automotive Industrie. Now I’m finished with my apprenticeship. To improve my skills and learn something new I’m going to study industrial engineering and management at the twente university. That was a little overview of my life so far. Of course I’ve got also free time in my life wehre I’m do a lot of other thinks. I love doing any sport. Here in my hometown most of the time I’m going to the nearby CrossFit-Box, play Paddel, go for a run, go swimming or play Beachvolleyball with friends. I’ve also played football, tennis and handball in the past. So as you can see I love to try new things and sports out. Besides this I love to explore new cities and countries around the world. This is one of my favourite “hobby’s “ because you learn always something new about different cultures, different people and (maybe for me the most important thing) about new kitchens. And this is another hobby of mine. I love to cook. The Asien and the Italien kitchen are my most favourite kitchens. Every Christmas me and my two brothers cook for the family a special dish. So I would love to cook also with you guys every evening. The funniest part of cooking is to do it with friends. Sitting and eating together in the evening is an everyday ritual in our household. So I would like to continue with this ritual maybe by you. The rest of my free time I spend with my girlfriend or with my clique. Most of the time we are doing activities like game nights, driving to a sea, watching football or other stuff like this. We also organise special activities like in march we were in a snow dome or a weekend trip to Wangerooge. In my opinion these are the most fun activities. At the weekends we like to going party or only sit together, drink a few beer and play some cards.

Hi, I am moving to Delft or Den Haag from Germany to do my master's degree in applied mathematics at TU Delft. About me: I absolutely love doing sports! Whatever you may suggest I'm down. Mainly I'm going running or cycling but have been thinking about picking soccer back up. I enjoy planning activities spontaneously. I'm just one call away from going for a run, a hike, to the park, cooking dinner together or grabbing a quick beer at the local pub. As my choice of degree may have given away I enjoy pondering complex problems and love to learn. Recently, I have picked up reading again after beeing peer pressured by some friends, which has added a new facet to my life. For the rest of August I am fixated on learning Dutch as much as possible. I have already lived in a shared apartment during my bachelor's degree. It'd be great to have a flat with an engaging bunch to share dinners and good times instead of doom scrolling by myself. That said, my main priority right now is finding a place to call home before the semester starts.
