Hi, I'm Clara! I am a 24 year-old German who is looking to move to Utrecht for my Masters. From September onwards I will study "Social Challenges, Policies, and Interventions" in Utrecht and after a few years in Nijmegen I am now ready to make a new city my home. Besides my studies I love to be in nature, work on creative projects like knitting or sewing, cook, play Volleyball, and spend time with my friends. From my time studying in Nijmegen I already have lots of experience living with other people and like to think that I am a clean, open-minded and uncomplicated roommate to live with. While I don't speak Dutch fluently yet, I understand it almost fluently and am also doing a course to further learn the language! For my new home I would prefer to live with roommates that also like to spend time together every now and then but I also understand that this is not always possible, which is okay. I have been living in the Netherlands for three years now in Maastricht, and am moving to Amsterdam to complete my masters degree. I would describe myself as a studious, friendly and fun person. I spend quite a lot of time studing but also enjoy a good life balance too. 2. What I do ------------------------------------------------------- I am currently enrolled in the Law and Finance Masters programme at the University of Amsterdam. I studied International and European Law for my bachelor in the south of the Netherlands. I work part-time for three days a week alongside my studies at a Dutch law firm. I also work for four organisations: International bar association, international legal research fund, homelessness rights centre and student investments association. I am an English teacher to Ukrainian children but also work as a private estate manager in the summertime. 3. What I like to do ------------------------------------------------------- Daily, I enjoy waking up early and catching the quietness that comes with the morning. I also like to attend the gym for yoga and general fitness, in addition to a lot of evening walks. When I am not working, studying or partaking in voluntary work, I like spending time with friends but also baking and learning about philosophy and the Dutch language.
