While originally from Germany, I came here to study Psychology at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and just recently graduated with my Bachelor’s degree. However, after I obtained my degree I realized relatively quickly that I would rather dive straight into working, which is why I started a stable full-time position in Business and Import Administration at Koopman International. Natuurlijk spreek ik ook een beetje Nederlands, maar nog niet goed genoeg om een gesprek op een professionele manier te voeren. Maar ik doe mijn best om het snel te leren! Over mij: Ik ben een open en vriendelijk persoon die ervan houdt om nieuwe mensen te leren kennen. Ik houd van allerlei vormen van kunst, koken en gezellig op pad gaan, maar kan ook erg genieten van de rust en het comfort van mijn eigen huis. Momenteel ben ik op zoek naar een nieuwe plek die ik mijn thuis mag noemen. Ik ben op zoek naar een klein appartement of een studio voor mezelf, waar ik volledig zelfstandig kan wonen. Tijdens mijn studie woonde ik in Amstelveen in een huis met drie huisgenoten, maar dat heb ik onlangs moeten verlaten vanwege het faillissement van de woningbemiddelaar. Omdat ik iemand ben die behoefte heeft aan structuur en orde, en ik nu financieel veel zelfstandiger ben met een bruto maandinkomen van ~3800€, ben ik op zoek gegaan naar een plek die ik helemaal mijn eigen kan maken en waar ik voor langere tijd kan blijven wonen. My partner and I are excited to begin this new chapter as expats relocating from India and become part of the Amsterdam community. We're currently searching for a furnished 1–2 bedroom apartment starting August 26, 2026, with a budget of €2,000–€2,500. Ideally, we'd prefer a place with registration and a long-term contract, but we're also open to temporary housing for around 2 to 3months if that helps us settle in comfortably while we search for something more permanent. We're flexible on location, as long as the commute to Bijlmer Arena is manageable by public transport, ideally within 30 minutes or so. Areas like Amstelveen, Diemen, Amsterdam Zuid, Nieuw-West, Haarlem, Hoofddorp, Aalsmeer, and Heemstede would all work well for us. A bit about us: we're a quiet, tidy married couple who enjoy exploring new cities, staying active, and building a comfortable home wherever we go. We both value a clean, respectful living space and believe we'd be reliable, low-maintenance tenants who take excellent care of the property. Since this will be our first rental in the Netherlands, we don't yet have a local landlord reference. However, we're happy to offer other forms of assurance, including proof of employment and income, or references from colleagues in Amsterdam who know me personally. We'll complete formal registration, including BSN and municipality registration, within 1–2 weeks of arrival.
