Mijn voorstudies: Ik ben begonnen op trompet toen ik in het middelbaar zat en moest dan omschakelen naar tuba, door een beugel. Die omschakeling was pittig, maar daar door heb ik wel doorzettingsvermogen gecreëerd. Ik ben heel benieuwd en gemotiveerd om te leren hoe ik mensen kan helpen met muzikale interactie. Door mijn muzikale achtergrond helpt het me op een goede basis te vormen in muziek. De opleiding muziektherapie in Enschede spreekt mij aan vanwege het een conservatorium is. Het muzikale gedeelte is even belangrijk als de therapie. Staat er wind, dan ga ik windsurfen; ligt er sneeuw, dan sta ik op ski’s of een snowboard; schijnt de zon, dan ga ik hardlopen, hockeyen of chillen bij Plankenkoorts; en bij slecht weer ben ik vaak in de boulderhal te vinden.
