Hee! Ik ben een toekomstige psychologie student uit Breda en ik ben op zoek naar een leuke kamer in Utrecht voor begin september 2025! Ik ben nu 18, 19 als ik begin met studeren. In mijn dagelijks leven ben ik een rustig persoon, je zult me snel met een boek in mijn handen vinden, maar ik ben altijd wel in voor een concert of festival (en natuurlijk ook carnaval :). In het weekend vind ik het leuk om af te spreken met vrienden en gezellig een drankje te doen (liefst witte wijn). Als ik vrije tijd heb steek ik dat ook in het leren van een nieuwe taal, hopelijk ooit polyglot! Ik probeer om altijd rekening mee te houden met anderen en vind het zelf ook fijn als het huis schoon en opgeruimd is. Ik ben (al 6 jaar) vegetariër, queer vriendelijk, en volgens mijn vrienden en familie ook niet luid. Ik kijk ernaar uit om in Utrecht te wonen!

I just finished my Bachelor’s degree in E-Commerce and will start my Master’s at Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences (RUAS) in September. Until then, I’m working and preparing for the move – including improving my Dutch! I’m looking for a furnished (or partly furnished) studio, apartment or a room in a shared flat in Rotterdam, Vlaardingen, Schiedam or Capelle aan den IJssel. My budget is around €800/month (including bills), and ideally I’d like to move in sometime in August (July is also possible). As a roommate or tenant, I’m respectful, calm and tidy. I enjoy a clean and relaxed environment but I’m also open and social when the moment calls for it. I don’t smoke and I’m easygoing when it comes to food – just not a fan of mushrooms 😉. Outside of work and uni, I stay active: I’ve been playing football since I was a kid, I go to the gym, run regularly and love to cook for friends and family. On weekends I’m always up for social events or a good party, but I balance that with a healthy and active lifestyle. I plan to stay in Rotterdam for at least the full duration of my Master’s (1 year, possibly longer). I’m Selma — 20 years old, part Greek and part Albanian (I’ve got both passports) and I moved to Amsterdam almost two years ago. I speak English, Albanian, Greek & Italian fluently and can understand a fair bit of Spanish and some Dutch as well. I work full-time in hospitality: I’m a tour guide at the Rijksmuseum and also do front office shifts at two hostels. Life stays busy, but I’m used to it. I’ve lived both alone and with roommates here in the city, so I know how to respect a shared space and keep things clean and easy. I’ve also dealt with the classic Dutch rental chaos — so yes, I’m fully aware of how contracts, rules, and responsibilities work. I’ve had my own flat for over a year now, but honestly? Living solo gets lonely, and it’s just not worth throwing money at. I thought having my own place in the center was the ultimate flex, but I realized it’s not really it, especially for someone like me who’s still figuring out where life will take me after these next few years I plan on spending in Amsterdam. Another big reason I’m looking to switch is to be smarter with my money — I’d rather invest in experiences that actually make me happy, like traveling or the occasional festivals. I don’t throw house parties and I don't go out much aside from events here and there. I do occasionally host friends from abroad (just a couch and good vibes — nothing disruptive). I’m clean, chill, and respectful — I believe in creating the kind of environment I’d want to live in, and I treat others the way I’d expect to be treated. Hoi! Ik ben Daan, 20 jaar oud. Mijn vrienden zullen me omschrijven als een vrolijke en enthousiaste jongen met een passie voor avontuur, snelheid, sporten en nog veel meer. Ik ben een fanatieke ''downhill'' mountainbiker en heb in mijn tussenjaar veel reizen met of zonder mijn fiets gemaakt. Dit jaar ga ik beginnen aan de opleiding ''Mechanical Engineering" aan de universiteit in Twente, vandaar dat ik opzoek ben naar een kamer in Enschede (het liefst op het campus). Naast mijn studie ben ik ook zeker van plan om lid te worden van een of meerdere sport of studie verenigingen. Ik heb ook gesolliciteerd bij defensie voor reservist bij de KNR, dus even zien hoeveel tijd ik uiteindelijk overhoudt. Ik ben opzoek naar een gezellig en spontaan studentenhuis, waar veel samen gedaan wordt (maar hierin ook enige flexibiliteit is). Ik herken mezelf niet als chef-kok, maar kan zeker wel pasta's of andere simpele gerechten maken. Ik heb thuis alles netjes (enigszins dan..) geordend en dat lijkt me ook wel fijn in een studenten huis (met een leefbare omgeving ben ik al heel blij).
