Hi! I’m Andrea, and I’m really excited about spending some time in Amsterdam and experiencing the city from within. I’ve already had the chance to live abroad, including several years in Ireland, so I’m used to moving to a new country, adapting to new environments and enjoying the experience of living somewhere different. I now work remotely in marketing, which gives me the flexibility to work from Amsterdam while continuing with my current job. I’ve visited Amsterdam several times and already have a lovely circle of friends there, so the city feels quite familiar to me. In fact, the first time I visited, I remember thinking: “One day, I’ll live here.” After having the experience of living abroad and feeling ready for a new adventure, I think that time might finally be now! I’m an easy-going, respectful and tidy person. I really enjoy having a clean and peaceful place to come back to, and I always make sure to take good care of wherever I stay. There’s a Spanish saying I really like: “A tidy home, a peaceful mind” and it’s definitely something I try to live by. I’m also happy to provide references from previous landlords or rental agencies, as well as proof of savings and employment if needed. I understand that trusting someone with your property is important, so I’m more than happy to provide any information that gives you peace of mind. Outside of work, I love travelling, discovering new places and finding cosy cafés to try different coffees. I also enjoy going for runs and exploring the city on foot, so I’m looking forward to getting to know Amsterdam beyond the typical tourist spots. I’m looking for a comfortable place to stay where I can enjoy my time in Amsterdam, work remotely and experience the city as a local, while of course taking great care of the property.

I love to read! Last year I completed 53 books. My favorite authors are Octavia Butler and Ursula K. Le Guin. Non-fiction and mystery are my current favorite genres though. Some other hobbies of mine are piano, guitar, mountaineering, and rock climbing. I volunteer, and value empathy and kindness above all else. I travel for work, and have been to 36 countries. I'm serious about financial planning, and have healthy savings to pay rent and security deposits up front and on time.
