In addition to my studies, I work 16 hours a week as a Legal Assistant at a legal aid insurance company. I currently live on a houseboat in Groningen. I will have to leave this soon because the lease has been terminated due to the departure of my housemate. I am a calm, responsible, and reliable person. I also find it important that my living space looks tidy, as this provides a lot of peace in my busy life. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my friends or going for walks. Hey! Ik ben recent afgestudeerd aan de Universiteit Twente en momenteel werkzaam bij Decathlon in de klantenservice, terwijl ik op zoek ben naar een baan in de duurzame energiesector. I'm Chani, 27, and I work in quality assurance for medical technology. For the past five years I've built and run the quality systems behind medical devices , most recently as senior QA officer on an autonomous medical robot, and now as quality and risk lead at Niavicta, where I'm also co-founder. I have an M.A. in International Management, with a thesis on the adoption of autonomous medical devices that was graded with distinction, and a B.Sc. in Physiology and Psychology, cum laude. I'm originally from South Africa, where I worked in medical device regulation before moving to the Netherlands in 2023. I've been in Utrecht since then, so this would be a local move rather than a fresh start, I know the area and I'm settled here. Outside work I'm at the gym a few times a week and I walk a lot; it's how I get away from a screen. The rest of my free time mostly goes into programming , I'm usually building something, learning a new tool, or taking a system apart to see how it works. As a housemate I'm tidy, self-sufficient and easy to live alongside. I cook properly, clean up after myself, and I'm not someone who fills the house with people. I like coming home to a calm place at the end of the day. I'm not a student, which in practice means a steady income, a predictable weekday routine, and no plans to move out at the end of a semester. I'm looking for somewhere settled for the longer term , at least 1-2 years.
