After walks, I always clean them properly before bringing them inside. I’ll wash them every two weeks to keep them clean. Once my freelance visa is approved, I will be working as a groomer five days a week. I plan to work at a salon where I can bring my dogs with me, so they will not be left alone at home. I do not smoke and I do not drink alcohol. I am a responsible and reliable tenant. I lived in the UK and Australia for a year each so I’ve used to live in abroad. Hoi hoi! Ik ben Vera, 21 jaar en ik zoek een gezellig huisje in Leiden om in te trekken. In april heb ik mijn mbo-verpleegkunde afgerond en vanaf september ga ik door met de hbo-verpleegkunde aan de Hogeschool Leiden. Dat doe ik duaal, wat eigenlijk betekent dat ik vooral werk en maar één dag per week naar school ga. Ik zit dus al wat meer in het werkende leven, maar wil m’n studententijd natuurlijk niet zomaar voorbij laten gaan. Over mij: ik ben een spontane en enthousiaste meid die houdt van gezelligheid. Samen koken, borrelen, een spelletje, feestje meepakken of gewoon lekker met een filmpje op de bank vind ik allemaal top. Maar ik vind het ook fijn om af en toe even mijn sociale batterij op te laden en m’n eigen ding te doen. I hope to take that knowledge of the Netherlands and bring it back to the USA to help improve our car-centric cities here. In terms of housing, my preference would be in Amsterdam within a reasonable commute to the Roeterseiland campus, but understand I may need to look further out. I would prefer to live in a private studio, but I’m also open to shared housing. In Denver, I’ve lived with three various other roommates the whole time, and all of us have gotten along very well. I’m very clean and quite quiet, though I do like socializing with my roommates when we’re able to.
