Hoii, ik ben Loes (18 jaar), ik kom uit Enschede en ga beginnen aan de studie Liberal Arts and Sciences aan de UU en daarom zoek ik (per direct) een kamer in Utrecht en omstreken. Even over mezelf: Ik woon bij mijn ouders en mijn jongere broertje en ik werk bij de Appie. Ik zie mezelf als iemand die tussen introvert en extrovert in zit. Ik ben namelijk soms een beetje stil/het kost me tijd om uit m’n schulp te komen, maar daarentegen ook uitgaand, enthousiast en ondernemend. Ik vind het persoonlijk erg belangrijk om rekening met elkaar te houden. Ik doe graag leuke dingen met mijn vrienden zoals een dagje shoppen, uitgaan, naar concerten gaan of gewoon een film kijken en chillen. Ook ben ik een nieuwsgierig persoon en wil ik nieuwe dingen en plekken ontdekken. Zo ben ik ooit gaan backpacken in Thailand en dat heeft er wel voor gezorgd dat ik nu ook nog heel graag meer zou willen reizen. Ik ben niet het meest sportieve typ, maar ik sta er zeker voor open om ook qua sport nieuwe dingen uit te proberen. Voor hoogtes ben ik niet bang. Zo ben ik al eens gaan skydiven en paragliden. Dat soort dingen vind ik heel gaaf. Ik ben geen culinair wonder maar ik kan zeker een goede pasta pesto maken en een lekkere taart bakken en ik ben sowieso van plan om vaak te gaan koken zodra ik op kamers ga. Als laatste ben ik een creatief (vind af en toe tekenen en schilderen leuk om te doen), netjes, en toch wel lichtelijk chaotisch persoon. Verder is het nog handig om te weten dat ik allergisch ben voor katten, dus samenwonen met een kat kan ik niet. Ik ben geen vegetariër, maar ik vind het geen probleem om veel vegetarisch te gaan koken/eten. Heb je nog een vraag aan mij, stuur me dan gerust een berichtje!

My name is Rui Marques, I am Portuguese and 25 years old. I am looking for a studio/apartment/house for me and my girlfriend, Joana Ferreira, Portuguese and also 25 years old.  Both of us are doing our PhD in Cancer Researcher in Portugal, together with the Leiden University Medical Center. Our monthly payment is provided by the Foundation for Science and Technology, which is the government entity in Portugal responsible for paying PhD students. Each of us earns 2218€ per month, with also a first additional income for housing deposits and travel. We can provide the needed documents to prove this. Both of us are well humored, calm, organized and unproblematic people. We both give a lot of importance to a clean, organized and quiet home.We enjoy hanging out and getting to know new places, go on walks and participate in the community around us but also enjoy cozy days at home watching movies and TV shows. I must add that I have already lived in Leiden for 6 months from july to december 2025 (I can also send proof of this and provide contact of my previous landlords ). This gives me already a notion of what it is like living in the Netherlands. Additionally we have 2 small dogs. Well behaved, trained and used to live indoors. Because of that we are open to pay a caution of value that you see fit. To show you we are serious in staying in the Netherlands and that we are able to deal with rental we are open to pay upfront X months of rent (depending on the rent amount). We can move in on the first weeks of March. As we are in Portugal currently we are not able to visit the apartment. If it is possible it would be ideal if we could do the visit via videocall or by sending a friend to see the house for us. We are open to any questions you may have.
