I am a friendly and positive woman from the Northen part of Europe and Im looking for a home due to upcoming relocation to The Netherlands. I currently work for a large multi national company and am relocating from an office in Sweden to one of our offices in Leiden. I work as an IT specialist in multiple disciplines and have a lot of responsibility when it comes to people and systems. As a non smoker I prefer my surroundings smoke free although I can tolerate tobacco smoke to some extent as I have full understanding of people needing to smoke. I dont drink alcohol but enjoy it when people around me are having a swell time over beer or wine. At the same time. I dont do drugs but am liberal when it comes to the views on drugs. My general rule is, I dont do drugs but I dont put my nose in what other people do. When not working I enjoy spending my time at home or walking around with my photographic camera. Im an avid amatour photographer and shoot both in digital and on film. As I am a computer nerd by nature I prefer spending the time at home tinkering with my computers and doing online activities. Next to that I like to spend the evenings watching films or series or reading a good book. When it comes to my home Im very protective of it and I have the need to keep everything in order. While not a party type of any sort I do understand the value of inviting people to the home for some fun but generally I prefer meeting people out on the town so during weekends I might prefer to spend the whole day in one of Europes big cities for some fun. Heya! My name is Tomás (Thomas works too), I'm Portuguese, from Lisbon, and moving to Delft in September for my first year at TU Delft. First time living abroad, pretty excited about it. I'm very into sports. I run (half marathons and mountain trails), swim and cycle regularly, and I'm working towards doing an Ironman at some point. Also go to the gym pretty often, no leg days though 😂 I’m social in a pretty natural and low-pressure way, I like hanging out, but I’m not forcing it. I’ll join for shared meals, spontaneous plans and fun sidequests. I just like a place where everyone feels comfortable and natural, i’ll do whatever you guys are down for. I’m not loud or chaotic, but I’m definitely not closed off either, somewhere in the middle I keep things clean, I take the shared space seriously and have no issue with chores or general house stuff. Also still figuring out cooking but it's a work in progress 😂 Also pretty into tech, I can go deep on it if you're curious or completely shut up about it if you're not English isn't my first language but I use it constantly and it's never been an issue. In Lisbon, tourists and immigrants often think I’m not local because my English sounds fluent without a strong or weird accent.
