Hi! I’m Esperanza 👋 I’m a 22-year-old student from Mallorca, Spain, and I’m planning to move to the Netherlands at the end of October 2026. I’m currently studying Primary Education at university in Spain, completely online, and I’m looking forward to combining my studies with a new work and life experience abroad. I would describe myself as responsible, tidy, respectful and easy-going. I really appreciate having a clean and peaceful home, and I always try to take good care of the place where I live. I’m looking for a comfortable and quiet room or studio, preferably with enough space to study. I’m hoping to find a place where I can stay for several months and feel at home. Moving to the Netherlands is an exciting step for me. I want to improve my English, gain work experience, become more independent and meet new people while discovering a new country. I’m a calm person, but I’m also friendly and enjoy getting to know the people around me. I believe that being respectful, clean and considerate is very important when sharing a home. I’m a calm, responsible and respectful person. I really value a clean and peaceful home, good communication and respecting other people’s privacy. During the past year I lived in an international student residence in Rome, so I am already very used to sharing a home and taking care of a rented property. Ideally, I am looking for a place together with my friend Maria, who is also 22, Polish and studying the same Master’s programme at VU. We are both friendly, tidy and focused on our studies, and we are looking for a stable place where we can feel at home for the academic year or longer. However, I am also open to renting a room individually. Financially, we can provide proof of sufficient funds and, if required, our parents can act as guarantors and provide proof of their income. We can also provide our VU enrolment documents and any other documentation needed for the rental process. We are flexible with viewings and can make a decision quickly if the place is a good fit.
