Hi! Mijn naam is Roos, ik ben 20 jaar en zit in mijn tweede jaar van mijn studie Creative Business op het Saxion in Enschede. Momenteel woon ik nog thuis, in een dorp vlakbij Enschede. Ik voel de behoefte en heb zin om mijn eigen weg te gaan en op kamers te gaan wonen :). Ik ben een meid die graag tijd voor zichzelf heeft, en ook echt graag tijd met anderen doorbrengt en dit weet te waarderen! Zo kan ik helemaal genieten van dansen, opgaan in muziek, lekker in de natuur zijn of creatief bezig zijn. Of juist lekker bijpraten, ‘s avonds de stad ingaan of lekker daguitjes ondernemen :). Verder houd ik van reizen en nieuwe culturen ontdekken. Daarom ben ik ook op zoek naar een fijn huis waar het gezellig is, maar waar ook ruimte is voor rust en je eigen ding. Hi, I'm Dominik. In June I was admitted to study Computer Science at Saxion University and started organizing my new life as a first year student in Enschede looking for accommodation. I come from a multicultural family - my mother is of Slovak origin and my father is of Colombian origin, so I have both nationalities and I have applied in Saxion University with my Slovak nationality, although I currently reside with my family in the capital of Colombia, Bogota. I am 17 years old and I have just finished my secondary school in Bogota, but very soon I will turn 18 and I consider myself mature enough to move away from my family and embark on a new path at Saxion University. In my multicultural family I have learned since I was little to travel a lot and enjoy adventures of all kinds. From a very young age I have started racing swimming training and today I am the performance swimmer affiliated with the Swimming Federation of Colombia and also of Slovakia. I hope to continue with this hobby also in Holland, since I like sports in general. Outside of sports, perhaps like most young people of my age, I like music and video games. I come from very far away (Colombia) and I have faith that living this way I will be able to adapt much easier to my new life and make lasting friendships with mutual support. Being an athlete since I was little, I am used to sharing with my peers and providing support when required, I am a friendly and social person. Coming from a multicultural family I think I was raised to be respectful and open-minded. Furthermore, Colombian culture is a very friendly, happy and pleasant culture like most South American cultures.
