Hello! My name is Martin, and I am a 26-year-old PhD student in cancer research from Barcelona, Spain. I will be doing a research stay at LUMC from 21 September to 19 December 2026, and I am looking for accommodation during those three months. I was born in northern Spain and moved to Barcelona to study for my Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and my Master's in Biomedical Research. Since December 2022, I have been pursuing my PhD at the University of Barcelona, where I research pancreatic cancer. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends, going out for a beer, being with my girlfriend, and staying active. I regularly go to the gym and run, and I'm currently training for a half marathon! I would describe myself as friendly, respectful, and easy to live with. I'm a sociable person who enjoys chatting and spending time with housemates, while also appreciating everyone's personal space and privacy. One of my biggest hobbies is cooking—I really enjoy preparing meals and like to think I'm pretty good at it!
