Hello, I am a French student in my third year of a bachelor’s degree in Earth and Environmental Sciences. I will soon be coming to Utrecht for a six-week research internship at Utrecht University, within the Faculty of Geosciences. My project focuses on the study of past greenhouse climates, 50 million years ago. I will be in Utrecht from May 30 to July 12. I am a calm, serious, and respectful person who likes to keep spaces clean and organized. I do not smoke and have several years of experience living on my own. Since a large part of my stay will be devoted to writing my research report, I am looking for a quiet place to live that is suitable for working. I’d also like to take advantage of my time in Utrecht to meet new people, connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds, and experience local life. Outside of my studies, I enjoy playing the guitar, drawing, and painting with watercolors. I will be relocating to the Netherlands and expect a higher income shortly. To provide additional security, I am able to pay up to 6 months of rent in advance and can also provide proof of sufficient savings. And I’m looking for a place where I can live for a year. My dogs are Shetland Sheepdogs (medium-sized), both under 10 kg. I am a professional dog groomer and dog trainer, and my dogs are very well-trained. They do not chew furniture or damage the property. After walks, I always clean them properly before bringing them inside. I’ll wash them every two weeks to keep them clean. Once my freelance visa is approved, I will be working as a groomer five days a week. I plan to work at a salon where I can bring my dogs with me, so they will not be left alone at home. I do not smoke and I do not drink alcohol. I am a responsible and reliable tenant. I lived in the UK and Australia for a year each so I’ve used to live in abroad. Hoi! Ik ben Imke en zit nu in mijn tweede jaar van Social Work aan de HAN. Ik woon nu al een tijdje op mezelf in Nijmegen en dat bevalt me heel erg goed. Ik heb het heel erg naar mijn zin in dit huis, maar helaas is dit onderhuur en ik zou heel graag een eigen plekje willen. Ik zit nu in het eerste jaar van Phocas, hier heb ik een ploeg met leuke meiden leren kennen. Waar ik vaak mee een drankje doe en samen mee eet. Ik hou ervan om creatief bezig te zijn. Ik speel gitaar en heb eigenlijk altijd wel een knutselproject lopen. De ene keer is dat kleien, de andere keer schilderen. Ik ben sociaal en praat graag, maar respecteer ook dat iedereen z'n eigen ruimte en rust nodig heeft. En een belangrijk puntje: schoonmaken zou ik niet omschrijven als mijn hobby, maar ik vind het wel heel belangrijk dat het huis netjes blijft. Lijkt mij leuk om kennis te maken!

Ik houd van sporten, zoals hardlopen, maar vooral als ik gezellig met iemand anders kan sporten. Ook houd ik van spontane plannen zoals shoppen, gezellig lunchen of iets dergelijks.
