I’m Helena from Barcelona, and I’ll be in Nijmegen a PhD internship in Neuroscience in Donders Institute, starting in 15th of July. I’m looking for a place to stay from July until the end of December. I would describe myself as calm, friendly, and considerate. I like a peaceful home environment, but I also enjoy getting to know the people I live with. I have lived in shared apartments before, so I know how important it is to be respectful, clean, and easy to live with. Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, dancing, running, reading, photography and going to music concerts. I’m excited to experience life in the Netherlands and to meet new people along the way.

I am a 20 y/o student in my first year of LR at TU Delft. I come from Italy but am Hungarian by nationality. I speak several languages including English, Italian, Hungarian, a bit of German, and am actively learning Dutch (understand most things and starting to speak). I am a very active person. I have been rowing for a long time (part of Proteus in Delft now) but I am down for any physical activity and more than willing to join all kinds of social fun/activities. I tend to be quite tidy and aware of the state of my surroundings and try to be mindful of the people around me. Goedendag, Ik ben deeltijd PhD-student aan de Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam, bij de faculteit filosofie. Ik heb een dubbele nationaliteit, Duits en Zuid-Afrikaans, en woon al ongeveer twee jaar in Gouda (Zuid-Holland). Daarvoor heb ik in Brussel (ongeveer 7 jaar) en in Berlijn (ongeveer 1,5 jaar) gestudeerd en gewerkt. Gouda bevalt me goed, het was perfect om mijn proefschrift te schrijven, maar de verhuurder verkoopt het huis en ik moet dus vóór augustus van dit jaar verhuizen. I like to have meaningful conversations, and enjoy the occasional social event. Overall, however, I prefer a quieter peaceful environment.
