I consider myself to be a clean, social and warm person (amidst all the rain!) :) I am a vegetarian who loves to cook (I make really mean dumplings!), bake and sing and a typical week for me is mostly working/studying but I also like going out for long walks and grabbing a couple drinks with friends. Hey, my name is Kerrin, I´m 24 and a soon to be Master´s student from Germany looking for a place to live in Leiden or close by that ideally comes with nice people to live with and will hopefully feel like a home for the next few years. I´m currently finishing my Bachelor´s of molecular medicine in Tübingen, Germany, and will specialize in Biology and Science Communication in the future. Being interested in communication also means that I put great emphasis on a well-functioning communication in a shared flat and with people in general. It is very important to me that everyone´s needs can be talked about and are respected (including e.g. clean common spaces, quiet times, consideration of stressfull times, etc.). I´ve lived in two different shared flats and a student residence so far and loved the feeling of community and activities like cooking together, trips, or board game nights. I´m not much of a party person but will always be happy to join you for a cup of coffee or a walk on the beach. My friends describe me as empathetic, determined, well-organized, and funny and in my free time I like to be creative, spend time outside or cooking, meeting friends over a coffee, or learn a new language. Besides English and German, I´ve had fun learning Swedish and am currently getting into Spanish and Dutch. It would be great to have flatmates who could see themselves contributing to my Dutch too. Pearks of living with me would include that I can take very good care of your plants while you´re away and that I have lots of great recipes from my time working at the bakery of my favorite café. Hoi! Mijn naam is Daphne, ik ben 24 jaar en studeer aan de RUG. Oorspronkelijk kom ik uit Arnhem, maar ben inmiddels al enkele jaren Groninger met heel mijn hart :) In mijn dagelijks leven ben ik vaak bezig met muziek (maken, zingen, beluisteren), gamen, tekenen, koken, Netflixen en afspreken met vrienden. Ik hou van gezelligheid en doe graag aan (wat rustigere) sociale activiteiten. Waar ben ik naar op zoek? Het liefst een plekje voor mezelf, met zowel een eigen badkamer als toilet en keuken, maar een gezamenlijke woning die goed wordt onderhouden en met gezellige, sociale mensen vind ik ook erg leuk en gezellig! Wat kun je van mij verwachten? Ik zal altijd alles netjes en schoon achterlaten. (In een gezamenlijke woning zal ik ook nooit mijn spullen overal en nergens laten slingeren). Ik doe niet zomaar iets zonder overleg en zal altijd rekening proberen te houden met (mede)bewoners. Overlast hoef je van mij dus niet verwachten. I'm going to do an internship in Deventer from 3 June to 30 September. ========= I hope to find a room where registration at the municipality is possible. It would be nice if the room is close to the train station of Deventer or is within 15 minutes biking to the station. The preferred renting period is from mid-May to mid-October, but I can also pay the full rent for May and/or October. ========= I'm an introverted and quiet person. I don't smoke or drink alcohol, don't like parties, and don't tend to invite people over. I don't have any pets but do get along well with animals. For my current room, I clean the floor and table once a week to maintain the tidiness. In my spare time, I actively learn Dutch and read books. My Dutch level (reading & writing) has reached A2 so far.
