Ik spreek een beetje Nederlands (A2/B1), maar het gaat beter in het Engels. Hi I'm Karin, I'm 23, I'm a dual citizen but I've lived in the USA my whole life. I have been in NL since June. I have no pets, and I'm not a smoker. I'm social but chill and don't have parties. My hobbies are reading, training animals, and rollerskating. I have been conditionally accepted into Wageningen University. I plan to begin at Wageningen in fall 2027. Before that, I will be taking classes at Boswell Beta in Utrecht, en visiting Oma en Opa in Zoetermeer. En natuurlijk ook mijn Nederlands te verbeteren. I'm really excited to finally live in the Netherlands! I haven't been in the Netherlands since I did a biking trip across the whole country when I was 10 years old :)

Rustige, vriendelijke bewoners

Ik ben Mare van der Heijden! Ik woon momenteel in het kleine brabantse dorpje Wintelre in de buurt van Eindhoven, waar je nog nooit van hebt gehoord en waar geen bus is, dus een kamer in Utrecht is zeker nodig. In september ben ik 19 en begin ik met de opleiding Philosophy, Politics en Economics op de uni. Ik hou van een heerlijk terrasje en natuurlijk een stapavond op z’n tijd, maar dat balanceer ik met sportief bezig zijn! Ik ga in Utrecht proberen iets nieuws op te pakken, naast mijn passie voor saxofoon spelen (thuisthuis, dus geen geluidsoverlast). Verder ben ik een grote film en seriefanaat. Slechte tv samen bingewatchen lijkt me dus super leuk! Van shoppen ben ik ook een grote liefhebber, dus ik heb altijd kleding te leen! Ik schijn geen vreselijk persoon te zijn om mee samen te wonen (als ik mijn ouders mag geloven dan). Ik ben netjes opgeruimd en kan heerlijke koekjes bakken.
