My name is Rui Marques, I am Portuguese and 25 years old. I am looking for a studio/apartment/house for me and my girlfriend, Joana Ferreira, Portuguese and also 25 years old.  Both of us are doing our PhD in Cancer Researcher in Portugal, together with the Leiden University Medical Center. Our monthly payment is provided by the Foundation for Science and Technology, which is the government entity in Portugal responsible for paying PhD students. Each of us earns 2218€ per month, with also a first additional income for housing deposits and travel. We can provide the needed documents to prove this. Both of us are well humored, calm, organized and unproblematic people. We both give a lot of importance to a clean, organized and quiet home.We enjoy hanging out and getting to know new places, go on walks and participate in the community around us but also enjoy cozy days at home watching movies and TV shows. Geachte verhuurder, Eind februari studeer ik af als basisarts en zal ik kort daarna starten als arts in het Martini Ziekenhuis, waar ik erg naar uit kijk. Oorspronkelijk kom ik uit Friesland en heb tijdens mijn studie Geneeskunde een fijne periode aan de E. Thomassen à Thuessinklaan gewoond. Deze buurt bevalt mij erg goed met een prachtige ligging bij het water, vlakbij het UMCG (waar ik cursussen voor mijn studie en werk volg) en dichtbij het centrum! Momenteel woon ik voor mijn laatste studiejaar in Utrecht en zoek ik per maart een woning voor mezelf in het gezellige Groningen. Ik heb bewust gekozen om weer naar Groningen terug te verhuizen, omdat ik hier een prettige tijd heb beleefd met vriendinnen in de buurt en met plezier bij GSTC heb getennist.
