Hii! My name is Lamis, I’m a 25 year old Master’s student in Life Sciences. I’ll be moving to the Netherlands for a 9 month research internship at LUMC in Leiden starting February 2026. In my free time (even though I don’t have much of it with my studies 😅), I enjoy spending time with friends, cooking, and watching series.

Education is important to me, and I'm pursuing further studies in therapy while gearing up for some research work. Outside of work, I like to keep busy with various activities. One of my passions is acting, and I'm proud to be part of the Ukrainian Theater here in Amsterdam. Music is another love of mine, and I often find myself singing in the Improvisation Choir or taking part in jam sessions or dancing in Contact Improvisation Classes! I enjoy whipping up healthy meals in the kitchen when it comes to downtime. Though I must admit, sometimes I get inspired and attempt culinary masterpieces. It's all part of the fun! And of course I adore spending time in nature and exploring the area on my bike.

Heehoii, Ik ben Thijmen van der Helm, 19 jaar en ben op zoek naar een leuke, gezellige kamer! Ik ben tweedejaars student Civiele Techniek aan de TU Delft, dus ben overdag bezig met bruggen ontwerpen maar buiten studie om ben ik een echte roeiliefhebber en roei dan ook bij A.L.S.R.V Asopos De Vliet in Leiden. Daarnaast houd ik erg van zeilen (op onze eigen zeilboot), en pak zoveel mogelijk zeilavondjes mee als mogelijk is! Een echte waterliefhebber dus, maar ook iemand die altijd zin heeft om een rondje te hardlopen of te fietsen! Ik ben verder altijd in voor een avondje gezelligheid, een feestje of simpelweg een praatje bij het ontbijt, en ik zoek dan ook vooral gezelligheid en een hechte “huisfamilie” op de plek waar ik kom te wonen! Daar wil ik zelf ook graag aan bijdragen! Ik ben verder een opgeruimd persoon en help natuurlijk ook met de huistaken.

Thijs studeert Bestuurskunde en werkt als barman bij Café TweeKeerBellen. We hebben elkaar leren kennen achter de bar bij Café van Ouds, waar Thijs eerst ook werkte. We vinden het allebei leuk om te reizen en nieuwe plekjes en dingen te ontdekken. Maar kunnen er allebei ook van genieten om lekker samen op de bank met een serie te liggen. Wij wonen allebei al een langere tijd in het mooie Nijmegen en willen nu de stap maken om samen te wonen. We hebben een gezamenlijk arbeidsinkomen rond de €1500 per maand, met een totaal inkomen rond de €3500 per maand. Ook hebben we garantstellers, mocht dit mogelijk/nodig zijn.
