Tech expat in the NL

Hoi, ik ben Peppin, geboren op 29 februari 2004 dus inmiddels 5 jaar oud :-) Dit jaar begin ik met de studie technische natuurkunde aan de Haagse Hogeschool in Delft. Ik woon in Middelburg, erg fijn dicht bij zee maar niet zo handig v.w.b. reistijd naar Delft. Dus ik ben op zoek naar een plekje! In mijn vrije tijd doe ik graag bordspelletjes, fitness en ik kook graag (maar niet elke dag). Hopelijk zien we elkaar snel voor een kennismaking, Groet uit Middelburg (en hopelijk snel Delft!)

Daarnaast vind ik opruimen belangrijk en schoonmaken wel fijn om te doen (moeilijk te geloven misschien maar het is echt waar), dus zal zeker bijdragen aan het schoon en opgeruimd houden van het huis. Ik zit op dit moment in de laatste fase van mijn studie. Naast mijn studie heb ik een vaste bijbaan met stabiel inkomen en spaargeld, mijn huur betalen zal geen probleem zijn. In mijn vrije tijd houd ik van sporten, lezen, films, en natuur.

Hi, I'm Clara! I am a 24 year-old German who is looking to move to Utrecht for my Masters. From September onwards I will study "Social Challenges, Policies, and Interventions" in Utrecht and after a few years in Nijmegen I am now ready to make a new city my home. Besides my studies I love to be in nature, work on creative projects like knitting or sewing, cook, play Volleyball, and spend time with my friends. From my time studying in Nijmegen I already have lots of experience living with other people and like to think that I am a clean, open-minded and uncomplicated roommate to live with. While I don't speak Dutch fluently yet, I understand it almost fluently and am also doing a course to further learn the language! For my new home I would prefer to live with roommates that also like to spend time together every now and then but I also understand that this is not always possible, which is okay. In mijn vrije tijd ben ik veel met muziek bezig. Ik hou van concerten en festivals en werk daarnaast bij de Nobel, een poppodium in Leiden. Verder hou ik van wandelen en katten. Ik vind het gezellig om af en toe samen te eten, een drankje te doen of een spelletje te doen, maar ik ben geen enorme party animal. Ik ben namelijk ook iemand die het fijn vindt om af en toe mijn eigen ding te doen en ik zoek daarom vooral een huis met een relaxte, gezellige sfeer zonder al te veel verplichtingen.

Ik ben werkende student, waarbij ik momenteel de laatste fase van mijn masteropleiding Environmental Engineering combineer met een bijbaan (20-30 uur per week). Gezien deze combinatie van werken en studeren ben ik vrij druk en daarom op zoek naar een rustige leefomgeving, ofwel in de vorm van een zelfstandige woonruimte, of een gedeelde woonruimte met andere werkenden. Over mijzelf: ik sport graag (hardlopen en racefiets) en ik hou van koken.

Ik ben Mara, 22 jaar en woon momenteel in Nijmegen. Momenteel die doe ik een tussenjaar na een Bachelor Psychologie. Tijdens mijn studententijd stond ik altijd open voor contact met medestudenten. Zo nam ik deel aan een studentenvereniging gericht op theater en deed ik mee aan verschillende cursussen in sport zoals badminton en boksen. Met vrienden vind ik het erg leuk goede gesprekken te voeren, te wandelen en iets te drinken in een café. Zelf sport ik graag, houd ik van tekenen, lezen en series en films kijken. Ook werk ik al anderhalf jaar bij een mentale support lijn waarbij ik emotionele ondersteuning bied aan jongvolwassenen. Tijdens mijn tussenjaar ben ik gaan reizen door verschillende landen in Europa en doe ik vrijwilligerswerk waarbij ik in contact kom met mensen van verschillende religies en culturen. Zo werk ik werkte ik in een boeddhistisch centrum en een vluchtelingenkamp. Dit sluit ook aan bij de master die ik wil gaan doen in Groningen; Applied Social Psychology. Daarnaast heb ik ook allerlei verschillende sporten uitgeprobeerd zoals zeilen, go karting en duiken. Ik zou mezelf beschrijven als iemand die open staat voor contact met anderen, nieuwsgierig, hardwerkend en betrouwbaar is. In verband met mijn master zoek ik vanaf uiterlijk september een kamer in Groningen :)
