Hello! I'm a self-employed multidisciplinary creative professional (photographer/creative director/media background) who relocated to the Netherlands from the U.S. in February. I have a valid visa & residence permit, a business registered with the KvK, a growing network of Dutch friends and a sense of community, having previously spent extended stays in the NL twice in two years. This time, my move is permanent. I have never felt more at home than I do with my feet in the ground in the Netherlands. I am in LOVE with Het Gooi region, where I'm and am temporarily staying. I know every trail, every neighborhood, farm and public transport access from Bussum, Huizen and Blaricum to Laren and Hilversum. I'm also familiar with Naarden, LOVE Baarn, Hoorn, Haarlem, Amersfoot and Den Haag - where I have friends. I'm aware of the housing shortage, and will happily consider any availability within a 90-minute commute by public transportation to Amsterdam, where much of my work seems to be. I have an excellent rental history and personal references and I care for my space. I have a green thumb, love people, adore animals, art, am newly enthusiastic about golf, opera, and even the raindrops most complain about - there's serenity in gray days, too! I would love my independence and a studio or apartment, but I also understand the housing shortage yields few or unaffordable rentals, so I'd be open to discussing sharing in a bright, comfortable place with someone kind and respectful, who appreciates some privacy and room to breathe. :) I have no pets, but huge bonus if you do! ;) Registration is necessary. Ik ben Yeabtsega en ik zit momenteel in mijn laatste bachelorjaar in het conservatorium van Brussel. Ik studeer klassieke uitvoerende muziek, op tuba. Mijn voorstudies: Ik ben begonnen op trompet toen ik in het middelbaar zat en moest dan omschakelen naar tuba, door een beugel. Die omschakeling was pittig, maar daar door heb ik wel doorzettingsvermogen gecreëerd. […] In mijn vrije tijd zit ik in mijn vijfde en ook wel laatste jaar op de scouts, waar ik leiding geef aan verschillende leeftijden. Ik help graag mensen. Ik ben heel benieuwd en gemotiveerd om te leren hoe ik mensen kan helpen met muzikale interactie. Door mijn muzikale achtergrond helpt het me op een goede basis te vormen in muziek. Ik sta graag op het podium, waar ik mijn muziek door emoties kan brengen. Maar het liefst zou ik dit gerichter en persoonlijker willen doen. De opleiding muziektherapie in Enschede spreekt mij aan vanwege het een conservatorium is. Het muzikale gedeelte is even belangrijk als de therapie. Ik ben heel benieuwd om te zien wat mijn persoonlijke ontwikkeling zal eruit zien. Ik hoorde de term “zelfreflectie” een aantal keren vallen op de opendeurdag. Dat lijkt me al heel interessant en uitdagend.
