Juggling life as a working student, I'm currently studying anthropology at Vrije University by day and working as a night receptionist at a hotel by night. I'm Roger, from Barcelona, and after some time settling into life in the Netherlands, I've recently secured a full-time job in Amsterdam. Now, I'm on the lookout for a room in a shared apartment. I take pride in keeping things tidy and organised, but I'm equally enthusiastic about being social and spending quality time with roommates, even I have my own community in Amsterdam, most of whom I met during my master in Maastricht. I like spending my free time hanging out, doing some sport (I used to play basketball, but it was not a career to follow… ;) ) or travelling around. In terms of my job, I work in Amsterdam Zuid, having at most 1 or 2 days remote work, however, some days i also have to go to Utrecht.

I consider myself to be a clean, social and warm person (amidst all the rain!) :) I am a vegetarian who loves to cook (I make really mean dumplings!), bake and sing and a typical week for me is mostly working/studying but I also like going out for long walks and grabbing a couple drinks with friends. Ik ben 22 en hou heel erg van gezelligheid, samen koken en de stad verkennen. Ik ben een huisgenoot die het leuk vindt om samen te koken etc. maar ook haar eigen ding doet :) Ik studeer in juni af van mijn Bachelor cultuur studies en doe het komende jaar een traineeship, dus ik kan zowel bij studenten als werkenden goed aansluiting vinden! Ik houd van een schoon huis waar mensen over de vloer komen maar waar je ook lekker kan thuiskomen aan het einde van de dag. Verder vind je me vaak in de dansstudio, in een museum, in de bios of picknickend in het park :) Hopelijk tot snel!
