Hi, my name is Paul and I'm moving to the Netherlands to pursue my Master's in Design for Interaction at TU Delft – a dream I've been working towards for a long time. I'm originally from Germany, studied and worked in Design in Weimar, and I'm someone who genuinely loves shared living. I've lived in shared apartments for 8 years, so I know what makes it work: mutual respect, clear boundaries, being there for each other, and keeping shared spaces clean and comfortable. Living together well is something I take seriously – and enjoy. Outside of studies I love cycling, hiking, sitting in cafés, and exploring new places. I'm looking forward to building a real home, not just a temporary stay. What I bring along: a great vinyl/CD collection, useful household appliances, and furniture for shared spaces if needed. Goed samenwonen is iets wat ik serieus neem – en ook gewoon leuk vind. Buiten mijn studie hou ik van fietsen, wandelen, in cafés zitten en nieuwe plekken ontdekken. Ik leer ook Nederlands, dus ik hoop snel een beetje mee te kunnen praten! Wat ik meeneem: een mooie cd-collectie, handige huishoudelijke apparaten en eventueel meubels voor de gemeenschappelijke ruimtes. Financieel sta ik er goed voor: ik heb spaargeld en ga naast mijn studie parttime werken, dus de huur wordt altijd op tijd betaald. I’m Cristina, 25 years old, and I’ve been living in Amsterdamfor a while now. I work full-time in digital marketing as a team lead at an agency, and besides that I also run my own jewelry art studio at Treehouse NDSM. Most of my free time somehow ends up in the studio making jewelry or metal sculptures, which I genuinely love. I’d say I’m a very open-minded, friendly, and easygoing person. I like having a warm and comfortable home atmosphere, where everyone feels relaxed and at ease. Outside of work, I’m into cooking, dinners with friends, jazz music, and all the small cozy things that make a place feel like home. I’m also a very tidy person and I genuinely like cleanliness — to the point where I actually clean when I’m stressed, which I guess is not the worst coping mechanism to have 😅 I’m respectful of shared spaces and pretty mindful of the people I live with. At the moment I’m living with two guys already, so I’m very used to shared living and different personalities around the house. I’m social and happy to chat from time to time, but I also really respect personal space and everyone having their own routine.

Hi! My name is Emrehan (or Emre could be easier), and I'm currently 25. I'm from Turkey but I've been living in The Netherlands for about three years now. I've been living with my family in South-Limburg ever since. I can understand and speak a basic level of Dutch, but I didn't want to be misleading by writing this Bio in Dutch, as most of my daily life is in English. I've been working in a supermarket in hours varying between 24-40 h/w for about the last three years. When I move to Nijmegen, I plan to apply to new part-time jobs right away. As of September, I will be starting my Master's in Radboud Uni. I'm pretty happy and excited to get back on track with my aspirations. But the housing situation is also a bit terrifying as I want to have a place where I can anchor now (I don't want to move around for a while anymore :D). Honestly, I am quite sensitive with my boundaries, so I'd prefer a studio (but hey, who doesn't I guess). But we all have to make do with what we have, therefore I can describe myself as someone easy to share tasks with. I try to hold myself to a high standard of being fair to others, so I always get the job done and sometimes more. But I'm not a fan of imposed friendships (which is why large households that upload hangout photos scare me as if they're cults) so I would prefer letting things develop organically. Other than that, I'm a smoker but I wouldn't ever smoke inside the house. I guess I have no yapping left in me, so hope to see you soon!
