Right now I’m working full time as a warehouse employee to save up some money so I can have it easier once I start my studies. At the same time I’m attending Taal school to get my Dutch to the next level, and after that I’m planning to start an MBO for movie editing since that’s my main passion. In my free time I’m usually busy with filmmaking and video editing, but I also love working out, going camping, or just hanging out and catching a movie. As a housemate I’m pretty easy-going and responsible, and I always make sure to keep the kitchen and common areas clean and organized. Hee, ik ben Joep(22), masterstudent en ben dit jaar begonnen aan de ME master high tech track. Mijn dagelijks leven laat zich het best omschrijven als “go with the flow”. Staat er wind, dan ga ik windsurfen; ligt er sneeuw, dan sta ik op ski’s of een snowboard; schijnt de zon, dan ga ik hardlopen, hockeyen of chillen bij Plankenkoorts; en bij slecht weer ben ik vaak in de boulderhal te vinden. En ja—als er een deadline is, duik ik ook de boeken in. Op dit moment ben ik opnieuw op zoek naar een kamer, omdat mijn huisbaas heeft besloten over te stappen van studenten naar gezinnen. Voor mijn huidige kamer heb ik al op twee andere plekken gewoont, dus samenwonen is voor mij niets nieuws. Hello. I'm from Poland, but I lived in the UK for two years. Now, I'm in Groningen, studying physics and math at university. It's my first year. People tell me I'm pretty chill and super organized. I really love art and music. Drawing is something I find easy, and I play the piano. Oh, and origami! I've gotten really good at it :-) But, what I want to do in the future is science. I love talking about all sorts of things and hearing what other people think. And I've done a lot of volunteering, which has been really cool. I'm pretty independent, and I get really excited about things that interest me. But I always try to be respectful of what other people think. And if there's a science project, I'm usually in!
