hoihoi, Ik ben Wietse, 19 jaar en kom uit Zieuwent. Een klein dorp waar je waarschijnlijk nog nooit van gehoord hebt en daarom zeg ik altijd dat het bij de Zwarte Cross ligt. Daar ben ik ook zeker jaarlijks te vinden. Ik zit in mijn eerste jaar van de studie technische geneeskunde en tot nu toe reis ik elke dag 1,5 uur met de bus heen en weer. Daar ben ik nu wel klaar mee dus ben ik opzoek naar een gezellig huis en mooie kamer. Even over mijzelf, ik werk bij DHL en vind mezelf een sportief persoon. Ik train op dit moment voor de marathon van Enschede en verder ga ik af en toe naar de sportschool om mijn goddelijke lichaam natuurlijk bij te houden ;). Op de uni zit ik bij StandaardLui waarbij ik wekelijks een potje voetbal speel en ik ben ook vaak bij de borrels te vinden. Ook zit ik in de eerstejaars commissie van Paradoks waarbij we leuke activiteiten organiseren voor de sjaarzen.

I have a BSc in Computer Engineering, and I’m currently doing my MSc in Quantum Science and Engineering, where I got hooked on the quantum world, especially superconducting qubits. I tend to be very tenacious and a bit perfectionist: I like doing things properly, even if it means iterating a lot. Outside work/study, I enjoy going to the gym, I occasionally do a bit of gardening, and I’m a big fan of football and motorsport (especially Formula 1 and endurance racing). Fun fact: when I was 12 I started watching YouTube and discovered Vsauce, back when I barely understood English, and the “mental jumps” between topics felt impossible to follow. Over time I pushed through, understood more and more, and it’s still my favorite channel because it can make any random topic interesting.

Hi! I am looking for a room or apartment in Leiden or The Hague (other places are acceptable depending on their location). My name is Anja I am 18 years old and I currently live in North Macedonia, however I am also half Slovenian (thus I have an EU passport). I recently got accepted into Leiden University for a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and am in need of a place to live. I am a very extroverted person so I would not mind living with roommates! On the other hand, I am also extremely independent as I would often be home alone due to my parents travelling quite a lot. I also have two older brothers, now one is in London and the other is in Slovenia, Ljubljana, thus adding to the fact that I know what it's like to live with other people and how to maneuver in such an environment. Some of my hobbies include photography meaning I always have my camera on me and love taking pictures with and of my friends, as well as the places we explore. I also used to practice volleyball as I was part of a volleyball club and played for my city league for 6 years until 2020 when I stopped because of COVID. I continued in 2022 to play for my high school with finally winning 1st place, as well as getting an MVP award, in my 4th and final year, as can be seen in the pictures. I also went to an international high school, where I did the IB program which academically prepared me for university. I will listen to whatever rules would be set for the room or apartment, as I am not the type to rebel. I will also most definitely keep clean and stay organized throughout my stay there.
