I have been living away from home for several years now. Between the ages of 15 and 18, I lived in a different city from my parents in Portugal: two years in a student residence and one year in a shared student apartment, where I shared a room with another student. I have never had any issues in any of my previous accommodations. I currently live in Brussels and share an apartment with two friends and fellow dance students. I'm Juan, a 25 year old Chemistry Master's student at Utrecht University. I'm focusing on sustainable methods of reusing and cleaning water, which I want to bring back to my home country of Mexico. During the week, I work 9-5 on my thesis at Science Park. On the weekends, I work part-time to support my studies. In my free time I climb, read and listen to a lot of music. Hi, I am moving to Delft or Den Haag from Germany to do my master's degree in applied mathematics at TU Delft. About me: I absolutely love doing sports! Whatever you may suggest I'm down. Mainly I'm going running or cycling but have been thinking about picking soccer back up. I enjoy planning activities spontaneously. I'm just one call away from going for a run, a hike, to the park, cooking dinner together or grabbing a quick beer at the local pub. As my choice of degree may have given away I enjoy pondering complex problems and love to learn. Recently, I have picked up reading again after beeing peer pressured by some friends, which has added a new facet to my life. For the rest of August I am fixated on learning Dutch as much as possible. I have already lived in a shared apartment during my bachelor's degree. It'd be great to have a flat with an engaging bunch to share dinners and good times instead of doom scrolling by myself.
