Hi! My name is Mark, I’m 27 years old and from Copenhagen. This September I’m moving to Amsterdam to begin the Mime programme at the Academy of Theatre and Dance. I work with performance and theatre, and a lot of my life revolves around creative collaboration, movement and artistic projects. Most of my learning has happened through experience and working closely with other people, which is also something I really value in everyday life. As a person I’m calm, open and social, and I appreciate homes where there is both community and respect for personal space. I enjoy shared dinners and spontaneous conversations, but I also need quiet time to focus and recharge. Outside of my artistic work I like swimming, a bit of gaming, nature and spending time with friends. I generally enjoy environments where there is warmth, openness and a sense of play. I’ve previously lived and worked abroad, so I’m comfortable adapting to new environments and living with different kinds of people. I would describe myself as responsible, easygoing and considerate in shared living. I like keeping spaces clean, communicating openly and contributing to a good atmosphere in the home. Right now I’m looking for a place where I can feel grounded and at home while starting this new chapter in Amsterdam.

Hallo! Bij deze zal ik kort wat over mezelf vertellen en waarom ik (met lichte spoed) een kamer zoek: Ik ben dit jaar toegelaten in mijn droomstudie (ZGS)! Ik heb de afgelopen twee jaar in de tussentijd in Groningen gestudeerd en in een appartement daar op kamers gewoond. Van Groningen naar het campus in Utrecht reizen elke dag is helaas echt niet te doen (+2,5u enkele reis). Daarom zoek ik met lichte spoed een kamer/appartement/studio voor aankomend studiejaar (en evt langer). Ik heb nu 2 jaar in een appartement gewoond, exclusief, waarbij ik dus alle verantwoordelijkheden ken. Ik heb met mijn huidige verhuurder altijd fijn en voorspoedig contact gehad. Mijn ouders staan ook volledig garant voor de financiering. Hierdoor is huur (en andere kosten) betalen voor mij geen probleem. Ik ben zelf een verantwoordelijke en vrolijke student. Ik ben vooral gericht op sporten (paardrijden, hardlopen, sportschool), studie (zorg, gezondheid, samenleving), en mijn vrienden. Ik hoop enorm een fijn plekje te vinden voordat de introductie weken beginnen, zodat ik niet het begin van het jaar hoef te missen. Als ik evt in aanmerking zou komen voor een woning hoor ik dit graag! Ik heb alle behorende documenten al in een pdf klaar staan, en stuur die dan door.

In september start ik in Groningen aan de RUG met de bachelor geschiedenis. Nu woon ik nog bij mijn ouders in Groningen, te ver om op en neer te reizen. Het zou daarom fijn zijn als ik al per 1 juli een kamer kan krijgen, zodat ik in augustus met mijn studentenleven kan beginnen.
