Wij zijn Joris en Meike. We zijn allebei opgegroeid in Deventer en wonen mmenteel in Maastricht, waar we allebei hebben gestudeerd. Omdat we graag weer dichter richting ‘huis’ willen wonen, willen we naar Nijmegen verhuizen. Joris gaat na de zomer zeer waarschijnlijk fulltime voor de overheid werken in ’s-Hertogenbosch. Ik werk momenteel bij het Openbaar Ministerie en start binnenkort met mijn master aan de universiteit in Nijmegen. Omdat we beiden veel met het openbaar vervoer reizen, gaat onze voorkeur gaat uit naar een appartement op loopafstand van een station. Wij zijn allebei netjes, rustig en handig. We wonen inmiddels ruim drie jaar in ons appartement in Maastricht en hebben in die tijd nooit hulp van onze huisbaas hoeven vragen, bijvoorbeeld voor reparaties of onderhoud. Wij zoeken dan ook een fijne, rustige plek in Nijmegen die we ons thuis kunnen noemen.

Hi everyone! I’m Nils, 24, and about to start my Master’s degree (Modern and Contemporary History) in Utrecht after wrapping up my Bachelor’s in Political Science and History. I’ve spent the last 10 years working in gastronomy as a bartender and waiter – first in my father's restaurant back in Nuremberg and later while studying in Mainz. It keeps me on my toes, makes me easy to talk to, and taught me how to actually keep things clean without being weird about it. Having lived in WGs for the past 4 years, I know how shared flats work: I completely respect personal space, but I’m always down for cooking together, grabbing a cold beer, or having a good chat in the kitchen (I also love cooking for people while trying out new recipes). When I’m not studying or working, I’m usually into photography, music, and politics.
