This September I'll be moving to Groningen to start the MSc in Molecular Medicine and Innovative Treatment at the University of Groningen. Before this, I completed a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology and a Master's degree in Molecular Biotechnology. I also worked as a research assistant at the Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia (IBEC), where I participated in drug discovery research for retinal degenerative diseases. Besides my research experience, I have also worked in Regulatory Affairs, which has helped me become organised, responsible and used to working in professional environments. I'm looking for a place where everyone feels comfortable, respects each other's space and enjoys a friendly atmosphere. I'm a tidy, quiet and considerate person. I don't smoke, I don't have pets and I'm not someone who throws parties at home, although I do enjoy having dinner, watching a movie or sharing a drink with housemates from time to time. My girlfriend, Libby, and I have been living together in Utrecht for the past 1.5 years. Our current rental contract will be running out at the end of July so we are looking for something new. She is working as a journalist in Arnhem, I am about to finish my Computer Science Master's degree at at the VU Amsterdam this summer. Libby is from London and did her Master's here in Utrecht. During her Master's she works as a tour guide, now she has been working as a business to business journalist for the past 1.5 years. During my Bachelor's I worked as a Ski instructor in my home town, Garmisch-Partenkirchen. I am currently working with a small German web development company part time and will continue to do so till at least the end of my Master's.
