I just finished my thesis for my bachelor's in Business Analytics at the University of Amsterdam and will be starting the master's in Econometrics and Management Science at Erasmus University next year, probably starting with the pre-master. During my entire bachelor's I lived with my parents in Hilversum, very nice and relaxed, but I'm more than ready to finally move out. After my six-month exchange in Hong Kong I realised how great it is to live on your own. In my free time I'm very into sports, I played football my whole life but at the moment it's mostly going to the gym and running. I'm also hoping to pick up bouldering once I'm in Rotterdam. Hoi! Mijn naam is Lily, ik word in september 18 jaar en ik ruil het bruisende Brussel binnenkort in voor het mooie Utrecht. Thuis in Brussel ben ik een gezellige en levendige boel gewend: ik woon daar met mijn ouders, mijn broertje van 10 en mijn tweelingbroertje en -zusje van 4. Door dat dynamische gezin ben ik heel zorgzaam en zelfstandig ingesteld, heb ik geleerd om goed tegen een stootje te kunnen en weet ik als geen ander hoe je rekening houdt met elkaar in één huis. Omdat Utrecht een gloednieuw avontuur voor me is, zoek ik niet zomaar een vierkante meter, maar een gezellige thuisbasis. Ik ben perfect tweetalig (Nederlands en Frans) en spreek ook Engels, wat handig is in een internationale stad. Daarnaast neem ik graag wat Brusselse gezelligheid mee naar Utrecht: ik ben altijd in voor samen eten, borrelen of een filmavond, en als goedmaker voor mijn Belgische accent wil ik best een keer echte Vlaamse stoofvlees of wafels voor het huis maken!
