(English below) Hoi! Ik ben Matilde, ik ben Portugees en ik studeer al meer dan 2 jaar Internationale Betrekkingen aan de Universiteit Leiden in Den Haag! Het is echt bizar hoe snel de tijd vliegt! Momenteel doe ik een uitwisselingssemester in Istanbul, wat tot nu toe fantastisch is :) Maar helaas moet ik terug naar het regenachtige weer om mijn bachelorscriptie te schrijven, en moet ik daarom voor het tweede semester een kamer in Den Haag vinden. Ik ben echt niet kieskeurig (en eerlijk gezegd, wie kan dat nou zijn tijdens deze woningcrisis). Ik zou heel blij zijn met een simpele kamer met leuke huisgenoten :) Ik moet je even wat over mezelf vertellen. Ik vind het heerlijk om te wandelen en nieuwe plekken te ontdekken: een leuk café, een toffe winkel, een mooie graffiti... Ik romantiseer graag mijn dagelijks leven. En hoewel ik eerder heb geklaagd over het weer, vind ik het echt geweldig om in Den Haag te wonen! Ik woonde vroeger in het Zeeheldenkwartier, een van mijn favoriete buurten, maar ik ga graag naar de Weimarstraat, Frederik Hendriklaan of Keizerstraat voor een kopje koffie. Ik ben echt altijd in voor een kopje koffie en kringloopwinkelen! Leiden en Delft zijn natuurlijk ook leuke steden, ik zie mezelf er helemaal van genieten. Ik ben een erg creatief en creatief persoon. Mijn favoriete hobby is kleding naaien, wat ik momenteel helaas alleen thuis in Portugal kan doen. Maar ik vind ook andere doe-het-zelfprojecten en projecten om te doen, zoals haken, borduren of dingen van klei maken. Ik probeer graag nieuwe dingen uit, mijn probleem is meestal het afmaken van de projecten die ik begin :) Hoe dan ook, als je dit leest en overweegt om de woning te huren, ben ik je nu al dankbaar. Mijn huisbaas en ik hebben nooit problemen gehad en ik geloof eerlijk gezegd dat ik vrij kalm en relaxed ben (dat is wat mensen me meestal vertellen). Ik kan me aanpassen aan elk systeem dat je hebt en je kunt erop vertrouwen dat ik mijn steentje bijdraag. Van mijn kant ben ik op zoek naar een kamer met eenvoudige voorzieningen en misschien een paar leuke huisgenoten. Currently, I am doing an exchange semester in Istanbul, which so far has been amazing :) But, unfortunately I will need to go back to the rainy weather to write my bachelor thesis, and therefore need to find accomodation in the Hague for the second semester. I am really not picky (and honestly who can be during this housing crisis). I would be very grateful for a simple room with nice roomates :) I should tell you a little bit about myself. I really enjoy going for walks to discover new places: a cute café, a cool store, a hidden graffiti, ... I like romanticizing my everyday life. And even though I have previously complained about the weather, I really love living in The Hague! I used to live in the Zeeheldenkwartier, which is one of my favourite neighborhoods, but I love going to Weimarstraat, Frederik Hendriklaan or Keizerstraat for a coffee. I am literally always up for a coffee and going thrifting! Of course, Leiden and Delft are also adorable cities, I could totally see myself enjoying living there. I am a very crafty and creative person. My favourite hobby is sewing clothes, which right now I can only do when I'm at home in Portugal sadly. But I find other DIYs and projects to do, such as crochet, embroidering or making things out of clay. I like to try new stuff, my problem is usually finishing the projects I start :) Anyway, if you are reading this and considering me to rent the place, I am already grateful. Me and my landlady had never had any issues and I honestly believe I am pretty calm and relaxed (that's usually what people tell me). I can adapt to whatever systems you have and you can trust I will do my part (really, I'm very much a people pleaser). On my end, I am looking for a room with basic conditions and possibly some nice roomates. If they ever want to grab a coffee, they can always count me in ;)
