Hi! I’m Simon, an 18-year-old german student from Berlin. I’ve been accepted into the AKI, where I’ll be studying Crossmedia Design. Moving to the Netherlands is a big step for me, and I’m really looking forward to meet new people and start studying what I love. I'm also excited to learn Dutch. In my free time, I love playing various instruments (mostly electronic, so noise won't be that much of an issue with headphones), drawing, photographing and table tennis. My favorite season is winter, and one of my favorite travel destinations is Norway, as you can see in the pictures. I like watching movies or cooking together every now and then. I'm a vegetarian and I'm especially good at cutting vegetables into very small pieces. I'm not a morning person, so I can't solve complicated math problems first thing in the morning. On the other hand, I'm very creative and have a good sense of humor. I'm responsible and environmentally conscious. I was active with Fridays for Future. Hi, I'm Brooke! I am currently finishing up my masters degree in Economics at Radboud and am looking for a more permanent place to stay. I'm from the US originally (raised in Colorado), but would love to stay abroad. I can be social but also love to stay in, just depends on who I'm with. Some of my hobbies include reigning 2nd place champs at our international Pubquiz every Monday night (the first place team is hard to beat!), watching every reality tv show I can, reading books, baking, snowboarding, traveling etc. I am looking for a room in the Netherlands, not too picky on the exact location. My current house is very much a student accomodation, so I am looking for more of an 'adult' feel to my next house. I would love to be friends or at least friendly with my roommates, because my current house now feels like a revolving door and it gets quite lonely. As a roommate, I tend to be very clean and respectful of the shared spaces. I'm often the one taking out the trash and doing general upkeep of my place now. I'm quiet, a non-smoker, and not to sound biased but would consider myself easy to live with. My current lease ends in July, but I'd be willing to sign another lease starting in June.
