Now, I work full-time at FedEx as a Project Manager for strategic projects in the European Union. With a permanent contract, paying rent on time should not be a problem. I am currently based in Rotterdam West and need to move out because my lease is ending and there is no chance of extending. As a roommate, I have a lot of experience as I have shared multiple homes with many people in Russia, the Netherlands, India Italy, and Lebanon. Jullie vragen je nu natuurlijk allemaal af: ‘Wow! Wie is die knapperd op die superleuke foto?’ Dat ben ik! Ik ben Kim, 24 jaartjes oud, en ik ben op zoek naar een kamer. ‘Nou wat leuk’, zeggen jullie dan, ‘vertel eens wat meer over jezelf, Kim, want wij zijn hartstikke benieuwd.’ Oké dan, omdat jullie zo aandringen 😉 Begin dit jaar ben ik afgestudeerd van de Universiteit Antwerpen, waar ik eerst de bachelor Toegepaste Taalkunde en daarna de master Vertalen heb gedaan (van het Engels en het Spaans naar het Nederlands). Daarna ben ik 3 maanden naar Scandinavië geweest :) Nu ben ik weer terug en werk ik in de bieb. Daarnaast doe ik nog een extra opleiding om mij te specialiseren in boekvertalingen. Buiten (ver)talen vind ik overigens nog een hele hoop dingen leuk om te doen. Mijn grote liefde is theatersport (competitief improvisatietheater) en daar praat ik héél graag over, dus wees gewaarschuwd. Ook doe ik al zo’n 2,5 jaar aan paaldansen, wat betekent dat ik eigenlijk altijd wel onder de blauwe plekken zit. Andere dingen die ik leuk vind zijn: lezen (vooral fantasy), bordspelletjes, Dungeons & Dragons, musicals, muziek maken en muziek luisteren.

Ik studeer Rechten in Groningen en zou graag op mezelf wonen tijdens het studeren.
