Hi! I'm a 23-year-old Hungarian student going into my second year of the Mathematics Master's at the UvA. I'm currently looking for a long-term place to stay, and I'm totally open to either a studio for myself or a shared house with roommates! During the week, my math studies keep me pretty busy and I spend a lot of time in the library. But if I move into a shared place, I’m always up to have dinner together or just catch up after a long day. I consider myself an organized person, which actually led me to a part-time job as a cleaner! I love keeping things tidy and adding little touches to make a space feel like a real home. In my free time, you can usually find me doing photography, drawing, or hanging out at the cinema. Practical info: I’m easy-going, a non-smoker, and I really appreciate a peaceful vibe at home. 21 jaar | Rijnsburg | Jazz Basgitaar – Conservatorium van Amsterdam Hoi! Ik ben Luc, 21 jaar en kom uit Rijnsburg. Ik studeer Jazz Basgitaar aan het Conservatorium van Amsterdam. Naast mijn studie ben ik actief als muzikant, speel ik met verschillende bands en projecten en organiseer ik regelmatig evenementen. In mijn vrije tijd ben ik veel met muziek bezig, maar ik vind het ook leuk om met vrienden te basketballen en ben ik actief met FPV-drone racing. Daarnaast ben ik graag praktisch bezig: ik vind het leuk om te klussen en dingen te bouwen. Vanuit mijn achtergrond in Industrieel Product Ontwerpen heb ik hier ook de nodige ervaring mee. Waarom ik een kamer zoek Ik ben op zoek naar een fijne plek waar ik voor langere tijd mijn thuis van kan maken, bij voorkeur voor de rest van mijn studie. Momenteel woon ik bij mijn ouders in Rijnsburg. Vanaf daar ben ik bijna twee uur per enkele reis onderweg naar mijn studie in Amsterdam. Daarnaast speel ik regelmatig optredens door heel Nederland, die vaak laat eindigen wanneer er geen OV meer rijdt. Een kamer in de Randstad zou mij daarom veel reistijd besparen en het een stuk makkelijker maken om mijn studie, werk en muziek te combineren. Daarnaast kijk ik er erg naar uit om weer zelfstandig te wonen. Ik ben op korte termijn beschikbaar en kan snel verhuizen wanneer er een geschikte plek beschikbaar komt. Wat voor huisgenoot ben ik? Ik zou mezelf omschrijven als sociaal, relaxed en verantwoordelijk. Ik vind het gezellig om samen te koken, een drankje te doen of 's avonds even bij te praten. Tegelijkertijd vind ik het ook belangrijk dat iedereen zijn eigen ruimte en privacy heeft. Ik ben zelfstandig en vind het vanzelfsprekend dat je samen verantwoordelijkheid neemt voor het huis. Ik help daar ook graag actief bij. Als er iets gerepareerd, gebouwd of opgeknapt moet worden, dan doe ik dat graag! Door mijn studie en muziek ben ik regelmatig op pad, maar wanneer ik thuis ben vind ik het juist fijn om te ontspannen.

I'm Chani, 27, and I work in quality assurance for medical technology. For the past five years I've built and run the quality systems behind medical devices , most recently as senior QA officer on an autonomous medical robot, and now as quality and risk lead at Niavicta, where I'm also co-founder. I have an M.A. in International Management, with a thesis on the adoption of autonomous medical devices that was graded with distinction, and a B.Sc. in Physiology and Psychology, cum laude. I'm originally from South Africa, where I worked in medical device regulation before moving to the Netherlands in 2023. I've been in Utrecht since then, so this would be a local move rather than a fresh start, I know the area and I'm settled here. Outside work I'm at the gym a few times a week and I walk a lot; it's how I get away from a screen. The rest of my free time mostly goes into programming , I'm usually building something, learning a new tool, or taking a system apart to see how it works. As a housemate I'm tidy, self-sufficient and easy to live alongside. I cook properly, clean up after myself, and I'm not someone who fills the house with people. I like coming home to a calm place at the end of the day. I'm not a student, which in practice means a steady income, a predictable weekday routine, and no plans to move out at the end of a semester.
