Hii, i'm Patricia, I'm 22 and I'm from Canada and Romania originally! I did my bachelor's in Psychology in Groningen and will now will be doing my master's in Arts and Culture at the UvA. Besides my studies, I love anything art related, including drawing, painting, film photography etc. I'm also very into films, as I worked at a cinema in Groningen, so I'm always up for a good movie night, as I honestly like watching anything from romcoms to horror movies to experimental films. i enjoy cooking and baking and love trying out new recipes and sharing them with people. I lived with housemates throughout my studies, so I'm very comfortable living in shared spaces. I keep my spaces clean and also always appreciate having a cleaning schedule. First and foremost, I am: Exceptionally tidy, attentive and respectful of the property:  even smallest issues/damages don't go unnoticed and are dealt with by me. I keep everything well maintained and take full responsibility. Cleanliness and order at all times is important part of my mindset and the way of living. Financially stable:  I work ~38 hours a week on average, make around 2300€ monthly and 27K€ annually, have decent amount of savings and I am very mindful of my finances. No debts or loans. I have been working at FedEx Duiven for over 12 months as a parcel sorter/forklift driver. Even though I work through an agency, my position is firm and I am at the phase B of the contract which also adds additional financial security. I intend to stay in the country and Gelderland area for a long time. Very quiet:  no music, no partying, no loud noises. No drinking or any substances nor smoking. I prefer mostly solitary way of living with my lifestyle revolving around mindfulness, self inquiry, meditation, light yoga and general focus on my health. Respectful to those around me:  while I don't speak Dutch and am not particularly social, I am polite at all times and I keep in mind the wellbeing of others. I am willing to be involved in any matters that are important for the landlord and community. Honest and transparent in all matters. I am 32 years old. My country of origin is Lithuania, EU. No pets. I am single. I am able to provide all necessary documents. My reason for moving is that, briefly speaking, I consider home environment to be very important to my overall wellbeing. A fully private space is a goal of mine and it would be a great improvement to my current housing conditions.

Ik ben Shilli (zoals chili maar dan met een “s” 🌶️), 25 jaar en ik werk fulltime in een bar op het Domplein. Druk, maar heel leuk werk! Ik ben over het algemeen een erg sociaal persoon (zolang het maar niet vóór mijn eerste kop koffie in de ochtend is – dan heb ik even tijd nodig om op te starten en is de kans groot dat mijn antwoorden wat vertraagd of verward zijn (oepsie)). Ik vind het leuk om thuis te komen en over de dag te praten maar natuurlijk heeft iedereen ook wat ruimte nodig, en dan zeg ik meestal gewoon: „omg my day was crazy busy and I need to hide - I see you tomorrow“. Ik denk dat het, zoals met alles, uiteindelijk allemaal draait om balans 🙂. Here some (fun) facts: Ik kan bijdragen aan een gezellige avond bijvoorbeeld door pasta puttanesca te koken (vegetarische versie) – mijn huidige obsessie, want ik ben gek op olijven en kappertjes. Als jij deze liefde niet deelt dan a) omg, wat een triest leven zonder liefde voor olijven (hot take, I know) en b) ik kan natuurlijk ook gewoon iets anders maken. Ik ben eigenlijk best goed in Nederlands (ik heb alleen in Nederlandse huizen gewoond, volg cursussen en werk in het Nederlands…) – ik ben er alleen een beetje verlegen mee, dus het duurt soms even voor ik eraan gewend ben. Op mijn vrije dagen spreek ik meestal af met vrienden in cafés (ik hou van De Village en De Ontdekking), lees ik, of ga ik kringlopen enzovoort. Groetjes!
