I like a home that actually works, where the kitchen gets used, where I do my share without being asked, and where I'll fix a small thing rather than let it sit. I’ve already had the chance to live abroad, including several years in Ireland, so I’m used to moving to a new country, adapting to new environments and enjoying the experience of living somewhere different. I now work remotely in marketing, which gives me the flexibility to work from Amsterdam while continuing with my current job. I’ve visited Amsterdam several times and already have a lovely circle of friends there, so the city feels quite familiar to me. There’s a Spanish saying I really like: “A tidy home, a peaceful mind” and it’s definitely something I try to live by.
