Hi everyone! I’m Irene, Italian, originally from Bergamo but living in Perugia for the past two years. I’m a (forensic) psychologist, now doing my PhD in Gender Studies, but my research and daily work in Perugia are still rooted in psychology. From October I’ll be moving to Tilburg for six months for my visiting research period at Tilburg University – and that’s why I’m looking for a place to stay! Ideally, I’d love to find something in Tilburg, but I’m also open to nearby areas if they’re well connected by train. I’ve lived in Maastricht before, where I completed my MSc in Forensic Psychology, and then spent about a year in Rotterdam – probably the Dutch city I love the most, although I honestly consider the Netherlands as a whole my second home. Who knows, maybe I’ll be back living here for good once I finish my PhD in Italy! As for me: people say I’m nice and easy-going :) I enjoy talking and listening to other people’s stories and just having a good chat. At the same time, I also like quality time on my own – listening to music, reading, watching series, or enjoying the outdoors. I love cycling (gravel is my favorite!), running, and swimming. I also adore long walks in nature, and I never miss a chance to take pictures of flowers, the sky, or anything that catches my eye. Hoi! Ik ben Linus (24, he/they) en ik ben op zoek naar een gezellig huis in Amsterdam. Momenteel woon ik al een paar jaar met plezier in een woongroep in de Bijlmer, maar ik merk dat ik graag wat dichter bij de stad zou willen wonen. Ik zou het leuk vinden om een huis te delen met mensen die houden van samen koken, koffietjes drinken, een serie of film kijken, of af en toe een klein projectje doen (denk: plantjes verzorgen of een huis een beetje opknappen). Thuis hou ik ervan om te lezen, creatief bezig te zijn (ik schilder en maak digitaal werk), muziek te luisteren, en te kletsen. Ik vind het gezellig als er mensen langskomen, maar ik trek er zelf ook vaak op uit. Het lijkt me heerlijk om makkelijker naar een terras, de bios met mijn Cineville-pas of een queer feestje te kunnen. Ik heb een master Sociologie (gender & sexuality) en een bachelor Fine Art afgerond, en werk momenteel 4 dagen per week bij een BSO in Oost. Verder hou ik van kringlopen, films, vintage spullen, dieren, en queer activisme. Ik zou het superleuk vinden om samen een fijn thuis te creëren in de stad!

Na enkele jaren in Indonesië te hebben gewoond en gewerkt, keer ik terug naar mijn geliefde Amsterdam om opnieuw aan de slag te gaan als docent/mentor in het Voortgezet Speciaal Onderwijs.
