Hi, I’m Thanos. I’m a PhD student with a background in architecture, and I will be moving to Eindhoven for an internship. I’m looking for a furnished room in Eindhoven, preferably for a temporary stay from mid-June until mid-October, but I can be a bit flexible. I’m tidy, respectful, and used to living with other people. I like a home that feels calm and clean, but also friendly and social. I would describe myself as easy-going, curious and independent. I enjoy spending time with housemates, cooking or eating together (you have to try my Greek food recipes), having a drink or a relaxed evening at home, and having interesting conversations, but I also have my own routine and really respect everyone’s personal space. A little bit about me: I have a very regular lifestyle and no bad habits. I do not have pets, and I do not smoke, use weed, or drink heavily. I usually go to bed around 11 pm and wake up around 7 to 8 am, so I would not make noise late at night or disturb others. I am also a very tidy and considerate person. I clean my room every week, and I always clean up immediately after cooking or using the bathroom, so I would not leave a mess or cause inconvenience to others. I am very interested in music and I play the cello, although unfortunately I did not bring it with me to the Netherlands. As a result, when I am free, I prefer to enjoy reading and soft music. The only thing I really value in shared living is that the common area stays quiet during resting hours at night and that there are no loud gatherings late in the evening. I am looking for a room with registration and my budget is around €750, flexible to could go higher for a place within cycling distance of the CvA. Outside of music I practice Zen meditation and watch way too many animated shows.
