We've already agreed to move in together, and both of them already hold stable, permanent employment contracts, so for a 2–3 bedroom place we're a ready-made and financially solid group of tenants. As a housemate and tenant I'm tidy and quiet, and I treat shared spaces and house rules with respect. I'm a non-smoker, I keep regular hours, and I'm the type who washes up the same evening rather than "tomorrow." I'm easy-going and sociable, and I genuinely enjoy cooking (Italian, naturally), so housemates rarely complain. On guarantees: my father is available as a guarantor, I can provide proof of income and employment, and I'm able to prepay several months of rent in advance if that helps. Hi everyone! I'm Lola, 22 years old and from Vienna, Austria. I'll be moving to the Netherlands at the end of August to get my Masters in Crisis and Security Management at Leiden University (The Hague Campus). Ideally, I'm trying to find a room in a shared apartment/house with roommates or a small apartment/studio either in The Hague, Leiden or Delft to rent for a little more than a year starting mid-August. I'm very excited to be studying "abroad" (or away from home, I guess) again, as I find that experiencing new cultures is one of the best things a young person can do. I'm a huge fan of traveling and I got my Bachelor's degree in the United States, so I think living somewhere different in Europe for my Masters will be a cool change. I'm used to living with people, I've always grown up with siblings and spent the last four years living with 1, 2 and all the way up to 6 people, so I'd say I'm quite adaptable and know how roommate life works. As for my free time, I looove all things food and going out to eat, hanging out with my roommates, reading, going out on the weekends but also having fun nights in. I would describe myself as outgoing, responsible, independent, easygoing, and fun to be around.
