Hi! I’m Logan, an American student moving to Enschede to study Physiotherapy at Saxion University starting in September 2026. I’m currently 18 (turning 19 in November) and finishing up my last year of high school. Right now, I work part-time in luxury retail at Canada Goose in King of Prussia, which I’ve been doing since I was 17. It’s taught me a lot about responsibility, communication, and working with all kinds of people. I have some basic Dutch from friends and family in the Netherlands, and I’m really looking forward to improving it and getting more comfortable with the culture once I move. A little more about me: I grew up in Philadelphia in a Chilean-American household and have lived in a few different places in the U.S., which has made me pretty adaptable. Wij zijn Joris en Meike. We zijn allebei opgegroeid in Deventer en wonen mmenteel in Maastricht, waar we allebei hebben gestudeerd. Omdat we graag weer dichter richting ‘huis’ willen wonen, willen we naar Nijmegen verhuizen. Joris gaat na de zomer zeer waarschijnlijk fulltime voor de overheid werken in ’s-Hertogenbosch. Ik werk momenteel bij het Openbaar Ministerie en start binnenkort met mijn master aan de universiteit in Nijmegen. Omdat we beiden veel met het openbaar vervoer reizen, gaat onze voorkeur gaat uit naar een appartement op loopafstand van een station. Wij zijn allebei netjes, rustig en handig. We wonen inmiddels ruim drie jaar in ons appartement in Maastricht en hebben in die tijd nooit hulp van onze huisbaas hoeven vragen, bijvoorbeeld voor reparaties of onderhoud. Wij zoeken dan ook een fijne, rustige plek in Nijmegen die we ons thuis kunnen noemen.
