My name is Dilara, I’m 25 years old, a German citizen originally from Turkey, and I’m studying Master’s in Clinical Psychology at Leiden University. I have been currently accepted for an internship at a clinic in Amsterdam Zuid and I am searching for a place to call home. I’ve been living in Leiden since September 2025 and I’m currently sharing a house with 4 other fellow students in Sumatrastraat which will end on July this year. Ik ben Philine en ik ben 19 jaar (in oktober wordt ik 20). Ik woon woon in de buurt van Rotterdam. Komend studiejaar begin ik aan de studie Notarieel recht. Ik vind het leuk om regelmatig te koken en bakken, zoals lekkere pasta’s of kardemom buns. Daarnaast vind ik het ook leuk om thuis koffie’s te maken, maar ergens in de stad een koffie halen vind ik ook hartstikke leuk. Op dit moment ben ik ook veel op de golfbaan te vinden, ik speel al lange tijd golf en ik vind het heerlijk om in de buitenlucht rond te lopen en mijn spel te verbeteren. Het lijkt me erg gezellig om met elkaar leuke dingen te doen, maar ik vind het ook fijn om tijd voor mezelf te hebben. Ik ben netjes en georganiseerd, heel betrouwbaar en ook wel bescheiden, maar vind het zeker belangrijk om zo nu en dan gezellige dingen te ondernemen en er voor elkaar te zijn.

Hello, I'm Emilio. I’m 22 years old and will be 23 in May 2026. I was born and raised in Napa, California but have lived in Denver, Colorado for the past 2 years. I have three citizenships, American, Italian and Canadian. I speak English and some Italian, but no Dutch (yet!). I plan on settling into my new home in Amsterdam in June 2026, and will work part-time after getting settled in. I’m willing to rent sooner for the right home to avoid housing chaos. I do have savings and allocate my financial resources responsibly. I enjoy playing video games such as Cities: Skylines, and going to many EDM shows. I’m social but not a big partier. I love travelling and have visited my family in Italy since I was 6 months old. I’m very passionate about non-car centric city planning, which is why I’m going to Amsterdam to study it since I believe they have the best cities in the world. I hope to take that knowledge of the Netherlands and bring it back to the USA to help improve our car-centric cities here. I’m pursuing a Bachelor’s at University of Amsterdam to study Human Geography and Planning, eventually gaining a Masters in a related field. In terms of housing, my preference would be in Amsterdam within a reasonable commute to the Roeterseiland campus, but understand I may need to look further out. I would prefer to live in a private studio, but I’m also open to shared housing. In Denver, I’ve lived with three various other roommates the whole time, and all of us have gotten along very well. I’m very clean and quite quiet, though I do like socializing with my roommates when we’re able to. Having lived with roommates the past 2 years, I’m more than happy to share a space with others and I keep common areas very tidy.
