Hi! My name is Janne, I’m 23 years old and a student from Germany. I’ll be moving to Amsterdam for a five-month internship from October 2026 until March 2027. I’m looking for a furnished room in Amsterdam, preferably with good public transport connections. I’m a clean, respectful and easy-going person. I'm a 24 year old masters and PhD student at the Universiteit van Amsterdam (UvA). I originally come from the northern country side of Germany and love being outside, going out with friends, and also just having some time for myself reading or writing. I'm studying and working on my research most of the time and I found cooking to be a really nice break from that and like to try new recipes. I have a long-distance girlfriend back home that I see once or twice a month. Either she comes visiting me, or I visit her. I am really into music and used to sing, play piano and perform a lot, unfortunately I haven't been able to do that in Amsterdam yet, leaving my skills a little rusty. In general, I am a kind, caring, and attentive person that likes to be clean, organised and structured. Nevertheless, I am always down for a good time and gaining new experiences :). I am looking for an apartment or room with tidy and like minded roommates to stay in and around Amsterdam.
