I’m an easy-going, respectful and tidy person. I really enjoy having a clean and peaceful place to come back to, and I always make sure to take good care of wherever I stay. There’s a Spanish saying I really like: “A tidy home, a peaceful mind” and it’s definitely something I try to live by. I’m also happy to provide references from previous landlords or rental agencies, as well as proof of savings and employment if needed. I understand that trusting someone with your property is important, so I’m more than happy to provide any information that gives you peace of mind. Outside of work, I love travelling, discovering new places and finding cosy cafés to try different coffees. I also enjoy going for runs and exploring the city on foot, so I’m looking forward to getting to know Amsterdam beyond the typical tourist spots. I’m looking for a comfortable place to stay where I can enjoy my time in Amsterdam, work remotely and experience the city as a local, while of course taking great care of the property.

Hi everyone! I'm Lola, 22 years old and from Vienna, Austria. I'll be moving to the Netherlands at the end of August to get my Masters in Crisis and Security Management at Leiden University (The Hague Campus). Ideally, I'm trying to find a room in a shared apartment/house with roommates or a small apartment/studio either in The Hague, Leiden or Delft to rent for a little more than a year starting mid-August. I'm very excited to be studying "abroad" (or away from home, I guess) again, as I find that experiencing new cultures is one of the best things a young person can do. I'm a huge fan of traveling and I got my Bachelor's degree in the United States, so I think living somewhere different in Europe for my Masters will be a cool change. I'm used to living with people, I've always grown up with siblings and spent the last four years living with 1, 2 and all the way up to 6 people, so I'd say I'm quite adaptable and know how roommate life works. As for my free time, I looove all things food and going out to eat, hanging out with my roommates, reading, going out on the weekends but also having fun nights in. I would describe myself as outgoing, responsible, independent, easygoing, and fun to be around. I'm also a very active person, I've played tennis my whole life and played college sports while in the US but generally enjoy most sports (especially volleyball and football). I don't speak Dutch yet BUT I'll be learning, so for now I hope my German and English (and humble French) will suffice :). Excited to meet you guys!!
