Ik zoek een kamer, liefst in een redelijk rustig huis, ik vind het leuk om af en toe samen te eten etc, maar vindt het ook fijn dat er voldoende rust is. Hi, I'm Dominik. In June I was admitted to study Computer Science at Saxion University and started organizing my new life as a first year student in Enschede looking for accommodation. I come from a multicultural family - my mother is of Slovak origin and my father is of Colombian origin, so I have both nationalities and I have applied in Saxion University with my Slovak nationality, although I currently reside with my family in the capital of Colombia, Bogota. I am 17 years old and I have just finished my secondary school in Bogota, but very soon I will turn 18 and I consider myself mature enough to move away from my family and embark on a new path at Saxion University. In my multicultural family I have learned since I was little to travel a lot and enjoy adventures of all kinds. From a very young age I have started racing swimming training and today I am the performance swimmer affiliated with the Swimming Federation of Colombia and also of Slovakia. I hope to continue with this hobby also in Holland, since I like sports in general. Outside of sports, perhaps like most young people of my age, I like music and video games. I come from very far away (Colombia) and I have faith that living this way I will be able to adapt much easier to my new life and make lasting friendships with mutual support. Being an athlete since I was little, I am used to sharing with my peers and providing support when required, I am a friendly and social person. Coming from a multicultural family I think I was raised to be respectful and open-minded. Furthermore, Colombian culture is a very friendly, happy and pleasant culture like most South American cultures.

Hi, I'm Brooke! I am currently finishing up my masters degree in Economics at Radboud and am looking for a more permanent place to stay. I'm from the US originally (raised in Colorado), but would love to stay abroad. I can be social but also love to stay in, just depends on who I'm with. Some of my hobbies include reigning 2nd place champs at our international Pubquiz every Monday night (the first place team is hard to beat!), watching every reality tv show I can, reading books, baking, snowboarding, traveling etc. I am looking for a room in the Netherlands, not too picky on the exact location. My current house is very much a student accomodation, so I am looking for more of an 'adult' feel to my next house. I would love to be friends or at least friendly with my roommates, because my current house now feels like a revolving door and it gets quite lonely. As a roommate, I tend to be very clean and respectful of the shared spaces. I'm often the one taking out the trash and doing general upkeep of my place now. I'm quiet, a non-smoker, and not to sound biased but would consider myself easy to live with. My current lease ends in July, but I'd be willing to sign another lease starting in June. Ik ontvang DUO en mijn ouders kunnen indien nodig garant staan. Daarnaast heb ik familie in Nederland die eventueel een bezichtiging voor ons kan doen of snel beschikbaar zijn.
