My name is Art. I have my own business, FermentFabriek, for the last 8 years. I have a new space on the Albert Cuypstraat. I work about 12 to 20 hours a day. I am now single and will be moving out of the house I had with my partner. All good. Life goes on, and it is meant to be enjoyed. I am from California originally and have lived in Amsterdam since 2000. I started my own food production company almost 8 years ago, specializing in fermentation. As I am now single since the start of 2024, I have accomplished several goals; I moved the production kitchen to a space on the center of Amsterdam with a retail store in the front. It is one of the only spaces uniquely with a kitchen (allowing public visits on the fermenting process, workshops and education), a store and farmers market. It is now time for my next goal of finding a new place for myself. I tend to work a minimum of 12 hours a day, spending a good amount of time working. I am quite flexible regarding a living space.
