Hi! My name is Àlvar, I'm 26 years old and I'm from Barcelona, Spain. This September I'll be moving to Groningen to start the MSc in Molecular Medicine and Innovative Treatment at the University of Groningen. Before this, I completed a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology and a Master's degree in Molecular Biotechnology. I also worked as a research assistant at the Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia (IBEC), where I participated in drug discovery research for retinal degenerative diseases. Besides my research experience, I have also worked in Regulatory Affairs, which has helped me become organised, responsible and used to working in professional environments. I'm looking for a place where everyone feels comfortable, respects each other's space and enjoys a friendly atmosphere. I'm a tidy, quiet and considerate person. I don't smoke, I don't have pets and I'm not someone who throws parties at home, although I do enjoy having dinner, watching a movie or sharing a drink with housemates from time to time. Outside university I enjoy going to the gym, hiking, cycling and discovering new places. I'm also looking forward to meeting people from different countries and making Groningen feel like home over the next few years. Ik ben Dennis, 20 jaar, en na mijn middelbare school cum laude te hebben afgerond, studeer ik nu bestuurs- en organisatiewetenschappen aan de Universiteit van Utrecht en ik begin na de zomer aan mijn tweede jaar als student en ben daarom opzoek naar een kamer of studio in Utrecht. Ik ben een hele beleefde, rustige en sportieve jongen en ik ben erg gesteld op hygiëne waardoor ik altijd secuur met mijn kamer of studio om ga. Verder sport ik heel veel: ik voetbal, doe aan hardlopen en ik ga regelmatig naar de sportschool. Ook houd ik heel erg van koken en gezond eten. Mijn ouders hebben “ons” ouderlijk huis verkocht en vertrekken naar het buitenland, dus ik ben nu echt op mijzelf toegewezen en ben dringend op zoek naar een nieuwe plek die ik thuis kan noemen. 😄 Ik verdien zelf €1200,- per maand en mijn ouders hebben €150.000 garant staan met verkoop van het huis.

Beste verhuurder, Mijn naam is Marijn van Kampen, begin augustus ben ik 19 jaar oud en ik start komend studiejaar met de bachelor Psychologie aan Tilburg University. Ik heb ontzettend veel zin in deze nieuwe stap! Tilburg spreekt mij erg aan door het overzichtelijke karakter en de groene omgeving. In mijn vrije tijd ben ik dan ook regelmatig op mijn racefiets te vinden om de regio te verkennen. Als huurder ben ik te omschrijven als rustig, sociaal en zeer verantwoordelijk. Mijn studie duurt in principe vijf jaar (inclusief master), waardoor ik echt op zoek ben naar een woonruimte voor de langere termijn. Voor de financiële verplichtingen staan mijn ouders garant.
