Hi everyone. We are a married couple, no kids, both working, looking for a place to stay for just 1 month (Sep 2026), while we are in between flats. James is American, Hannah is German, we have been living in Amsterdam for about 3 years now. We both work in the office 5 days a week so we are not home during the day, and we will be gone 3 out of 4 weekends in September, so the use of the apartment will be limited to evenings.

First and foremost, I am: Exceptionally tidy, attentive and respectful of the property:  even smallest issues/damages don't go unnoticed and are dealt with by me. I keep everything well maintained and take full responsibility. Cleanliness and order at all times is important part of my mindset and the way of living. Financially stable:  I work ~32 hours a week on average, make around €2400 monthly and €29k annually gross, have decent amount of savings and I am very mindful of my finances. No debts or loans. I have been working at FedEx Duiven for over 20 months as a forklift driver. I work through a work agency, however my position is 100% firm there with no realistic possibility of me getting laid off. I currently have the option for a permanent contract, but I cannot take it since I am depended on the work agency housing.
