Hi! I’m Esperanza 👋 I’m a 22-year-old student from Mallorca, Spain, and I’m planning to move to the Netherlands at the end of October 2026. I’m currently studying Primary Education at university in Spain, completely online, and I’m looking forward to combining my studies with a new work and life experience abroad. I would describe myself as responsible, tidy, respectful and easy-going. I really appreciate having a clean and peaceful home, and I always try to take good care of the place where I live. I’m looking for a comfortable and quiet room or studio, preferably with enough space to study. I’m hoping to find a place where I can stay for several months and feel at home. Moving to the Netherlands is an exciting step for me. I want to improve my English, gain work experience, become more independent and meet new people while discovering a new country. I’m a calm person, but I’m also friendly and enjoy getting to know the people around me. I believe that being respectful, clean and considerate is very important when sharing a home. I’m Sara, I’m 29 years old and I’m Italian. I’m currently doing a PhD in Italy in Turin, where I’ve been living for the past 10 years. I’m originally from Sardinia, so I’m quite used to living far from home, moving around and living in rented apartments! Now I’m moving to Utrecht for a semester at the Science Park, and I’m really excited about this new experience. I would say I’m a very outgoing person. I love meeting new people, having long conversations and spending evenings together, especially if there is some good food and a nice glass of wine involved.... but I’m also happy with a cold beer! I’m quite active and I love going for long walks, exploring new places and sometimes just getting lost in the streets of a city and taking pictures along the way. I love dancing and cooking, but despite being quite an outgoing person, I also really enjoy having some time for myself, reading a book at home. One thing you’ll probably learn about me pretty quickly is that I’m slightly obsessed with Hungary. I spent a year there as an exchange student when I was in high school, more than 10 years ago, and I still talk about it way too much. My friends are honestly tired of hearing the same stories by now!
