I would like to know more information about it, including its availability, rental conditions, and whether it would be suitable for me as a student. If it is still available and suitable, I would be very interested in arranging a viewing. If everything is suitable after the viewing, I would like to rent it for a minimum of 12 months, with the possibility of extending to 24 months or staying for an indefinite period. Hoi! Ik ben Daniel (27), oorspronkelijk uit Duitsland, en vanaf oktober begin ik als fulltime onderzoeksmedewerker aan de TU Delft, waar ik onderzoek doe binnen de sociologie van klimaatfinanciering. Mijn contract is voor één jaar, maar het kan uitgroeien tot een promotietraject. Voor nu kijk ik vooral of een carrière in de wetenschap bij mij past. Ik heb net mijn studie in Londen afgerond en kijk er erg naar uit om aan mijn eerste "echte" baan te beginnen. Een kleine waarschuwing: ik spreek nog geen Nederlands (alleen Duits, Engels en een beetje Spaans), maar ik ben zeker van plan om het te leren. Ik ben een ontspannen en gezellige huisgenoot, kook graag (meestal vegetarisch) en ben makkelijk om mee samen te wonen. Ik woon al jaren in gedeelde huizen en vind dat nog steeds erg leuk. Of het huis nu heel sociaal is of juist wat rustiger, allebei is prima – zolang we niet alleen als vreemden langs elkaar heen leven. In mijn vrije tijd sport ik graag, vooral rugby, ben ik graag buiten, speel ik piano en drink ik af en toe graag een biertje of iets anders gezelligs. Samen eten lijkt me ook leuk. My contract is for one year, but it could turn into a PhD. For now, I am just testing the waters of trying to be a scientist. I’ve just finished my studies in London, and I’m really excited to begin my first “real” job. A small heads-up: I don’t speak Dutch yet (only German, English and Spanish-ish), but learning it is the plan. I’m easygoing, love to cook (mostly veggie) and generally uncomplicated to live with. I’ve lived in shared flats for many years and genuinely enjoy it. Whether the flat is more social or more on the quiet side, I’m happy with both - as long as we are not just co-existing as strangers. Ik ben op zoek naar een plek om voor minstens 12 maanden thuis te noemen 😊 Een beetje meer over mij: ik ben van nature wat introvert, maar vind het juist gezellig om tijd door te brengen met mijn huisgenoten. Ik hou van een fijne balans tussen mijn eigen ruimte en samen eten, koffie drinken of gewoon gezellig kletsen. Thuis is voor mij de plek om op te laden, dus ik waardeer een rustige en ontspannen sfeer.
